April 30th, A Josh Sullivan Adventure...I went to bed early last night and slept 13 hours because I was fed up with everything and wanted to just sleep. I also wanted to go to the beach, too, to relax. I woke up and went to the post office to pick up some stuff waiting for me. I thought the buttons would be here but they weren't. I did get a couple mailorders for comics which was nice. An older man didn't have enough money to pay for the shipping on something so I threw a couple bucks up there for him. I then got the stuff I ordered from Asian Man Records and headed out to get some breakfast. I ate, gave the lady a $3 tip for my stuff that cost $4 and stopped back at home to leave Lauren a note and then it was back to the adventure.

I rode all the way on Central to Pasedena and then into St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island. The whole time I thought it was going to be crappy out but it was really nice and around 80. I got to the Treasure Island beach and locked up my bike (without flying over the handlebars and smashing my chin on the sidewalk as I did last time I was here: 2-15-00). I walked onto the hot sand and then I got to the water and felt pretty happy. I walked and walked and walked some more down the beach. I turned around and went back. A couple asked if I would take their picture and I did. I was really nice today as opposed to many other days where I'm grouchy and pissed-off. I then sat down and relaxed in the sun and listened to the wind. The sand hit my face and it stung a little.

I got up and hopped on my bike. I rode to see if I could cross the causeway on Central Ave. on my bike but I couldn't. I was riding and the wind was pushing me back so I changed gears. One of them got caught in my spokes, bending up my back rim. I thought I fixed it and it happened again. I then was very careful riding it the whole way back. I left at 11am. I was back by 3pm. A little adventure that cost $2.25 for a pop and water, one bent rim, and slightly sunburnt feet. Oh yeah! I was confirmed as a guest for the San Diego Comic Convention! -josh!

4-28-01
I just got back from the film fest that Lauren put together for the center. It was great. I rode my bike out there so keep in mind that Pinellas Park sucks because they don't have a lot of sidewalks. -josh!

Josh Sullivan Adventures #18 is done! This brand new mini-comic costs a quarter like always and continues right where the last one lead off. What a surprise. The little buttons are almost here and I should get them on Friday. They're 2 for $1. T-shirts are still in the works but I have that set aside while I work on other things. I need a cool idea for a design on them. There's a book I'm putting out called "Girl Cahmicks," collecting all of the comics done by females for my books. There's a new magazine-sized issue of the (Not So) series almost out. After that, I have an ashcan-sized issue collecting stuff done for zines and new comics. I think that's (Not So) Quarterly Comic #12. Yay! That's it. -josh!

4-24-01
I have the new Comic of the Week up. I hope you like it. There are 16 members in my new egroup I've started. Please sign up so I can send my latest junky e-mails to you. I'm shooting for 100 to join. The new newsletter is going out so sign up today! What else? I did the third painting for the series of seven planned. I am almost done with Josh Sullivan Adventures #18. It's really cool, with almost the exact cover as last issue but now Comic Me is replaced with Also. Pre-order now! -josh!

4-23-01
Read the newly added entries on the Writings page I did for Tanuk Times. Sign up for the e-group. Give me all of your money. -josh!

4-22-01
I'm having some trouble with the animation but just keep trying it. I'm tired.

4-21-01
I forgot to mention that I've given up pop. I'll probably drink it again but I haven't in over a week.

Joe Pendergast and I are doing a zine/e-zine together combining our titles we had come up with. The name of it is: Vertical Compostition vs. Burnt Toast. The site is:

www.geocities.com/burntcomp

The print 'zine is going to be free and I hope you like it. It'll have some new comics by me and some other crap.

Rob Hoyle and I are also working on comic stuff. I'm sending him stuff and he's going to spruce it up. Yay! -josh!

4-20-01
Oh, what's going on? I've been keeping myself busy. I just sent in my paperwork for the comic convention in San Diego as well as my art that will hopefully be used for the program guide. I've sent out my design for my buttons that are getting made up. Send me a $1 and some stamps and I'll send you a couple. I almost got hit by a car earlier. I grabbed the brakes on my bike and I flew over the handlebars. I smashed my head onto the sidewalk. Wretched hag not watching where she was going. I'm fine, I guess. My head is starting to hurt. Anywho, e-mail me. -josh!

4-18-01
A couple new things up on the animation page. The newest one will give you a headache. Ow....-josh!

4-17-01
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKATER DAN!. Be sure to check out his 'zine stuff he's doing coming out soon, entitled "Nomad Lost." Some other people are working on it but they aren't important. Nah, just kidding Phil. Us around the Josh Sullivan Publishing Co. have been busy. I have the new Comic of the Week up. I'm about to pass out. I'm exhausted. Oh yeah, I'm getting little color buttons made up and probably T-shirts in the next couple of weeks. Buttons: 2 for $1 and Shirts: around $10. That's all. -josh!

4-16-01 (part 2)
ChrisJ has his online zine partially up. It's Freaknik 'Zine on my links page. I'm going to be doing stuff for it every month. Right now, he has the comic strip "The Best Day Ever" running. -josh!

4-16-01
Late night, bored, nothing to write. Thank you to everyone who signed the guestbook after checking out the new animation. I appreciate it. I accomplished a few art things this weekend. I'm going to be doing my second painting after I finish this for the art show Jessica Kramer and I are having. For those of you who don't know about it, we're doing a painting a week for about 7 weeks. We asked people we both know to give us a subject or a theme to paint about. There will be two paintings then on the same subject. One male perspective, one female perspective. It's really fun. We're going to auction them off and I'm giving some of the proceeds to the indie media center. By the way, that's opening May 1st. It's going to be great. -josh!

4-15-01
The brand new animation is up! Check it out: whistling, sound, the whole she-bang. I'm getting better. Someday they'll make sense. -josh!

4-13-01
It's my half-birthday. What'd you get me? Six months left of the teen years. I'm so exhausted but I have to go to work. When I get back (around 4am) I plan on working with the "bigger" animation I'm doing. If not, I'll draw some happy rabbits or even paint. The options are endless. Endless! -josh!

4-12-01 (part 2)
New animation short up starring Nick the Knife and Flying Straw. Hope you like. Sign the guestbook. -josh!

4-12-01
I actually added a new Comic of the Week. New secret Flash movie coming. It's a little longer and involves a few characters from The Josh Sullivan Adventures. I'm taking a stab at making some cool voices for them, also. I'm hot and gross and scabby feeling. I'll write more later. -josh!

4-10-01 (part 2)
I am so hooked on Flash. I made another new one. Look on the Animation page. That's me singing! I'm making more of these ones soon because I finally got a mic and I recorded myself singing a bunch of TV themes. -josh!

4-10-01
Sound! Glorious sound! I had some Pete and Pete clips on the Bird animation but then I found some other ones. I'm going to go now. Bye bye. -josh!

4-9-01
Well, the site is looking a little better. More later. -josh!

4-8-01 (part 3)
I just found out that the children's book stuff I drew is all up on: Here. I made another animation thing: Here. Bye bye.

4-8-01 (part 2)
I'm excited because I made my first Flash movie. It looks really crappy but I'll get better. Here it is:

Moo-vee

Let me know what you think. I'm going to have some more animations very soon. -josh!

4-8-01
Hiya. I'm just trying to chill out in the heat at 6am. I just got back from eating at Denny's with a few people. It was fun, like the good old Jamestowne days. Just saying hey. -josh!

4-6-01
So, after many months of not keeping track of my mini-comic supply I finally went through them and tons of them have sold! I'm out of all the comics except about 15 of the 76. Cool, huh? I updated the catalog to reflect that. There's a chance I might be making more copies of some of them for the comic convention. That is all. -josh!

4-5-01
Hey! What are you doing? I'm typing this. I think I'm going to give something away. E-mail me with "Stick" in the subject line and I'll send you a copy of the fabtastic(k) mini-comic Stick-People Scum-Bags #5 for free. I'll give out 20 copies. Wow! What an idea. It's in the mid-80's and I'm taking Ruckus the wonder dog to the park in a few minutes. Eep! -josh!

4-4-01 (part 2)
I made more copies of the big comic on a heavier paper stock (gold!). That brings the total to 250 copies and more are to follow in preparation for the big comic convention. Some people e-mailed me about getting the comic so I'll send them to you snap! -josh!

4-4-01
Hiya. Welcome to some words for you to read. I'm eating some cheese crackers right now with some cheese to go along with it. How delightful. Thank you to those who have recently posted stuff on the message board or written kind e-mails or signed the guestbook. It makes me happy. I hope to someday make a living off of these so-called comic books.

4-3-01
Bleh! I added a new Comic of the Week which is actually all the art from Josh Sullivan Adventures #17. There's some new comics on the Art + Comics page. It's all old stuff. You might've seen it. I'm working on new material finally, though.

4-2-01
I got a digital camera for pics and stuff on the site. I added some new ones and a couple more can be found on the Comic Jerk page. I'm going to use it for some different web design stuff with Macromedia Flash, which I am learning. That and I take too many crappy pictures. With the trip up to MI back in Dec, my trenchcoat sleeve got in the way too many times. Ha ha ha. Hmmm...I'm sending out the new newsletter soon. I did the cover of a new 'zine called Frictose that is coming out soon. I'm kind've tired. -josh!

4-1-01
The Halloween Party at The Globe was so fun last night! I had such a great time. Someone even came as one of my characters (Also!). DJ Candypants Rob came as Robot Frank. I won a big bag of chips in one of the contests. I looked cute. I'll have pics up soon. I sold quite a few comics so far, too. -josh!

3-31-01
Check out:

http://www.house-of-pain.com

I'm featured on there with some of my comic work and other art.(!!) Yay!

Tonight is the Early Halloween/Globe 2 year anniversary/my big comic release party at my work (The Globe Coffee Lounge)! Come on out if you're reading this and you live around here. My costume is great. I'm the illegitimate son of Batman. -josh!

3-30-01 (part 2)
New contest is up and "Comic Jerk" page updated.

3-30-01
It rained and rained and rained yesterday. Tons of it fell. The lightning was beautiful. So anyway, the new comic IS out and I'm pretty happy. I have tons of other work now to do but I can't complain. On Monday night my painting sold for $100 at the auction and we made $1400 total for the resource center. I'm excited. I have a new contest in the works for the site and new comics of the week will be up also. I'm out! -josh!

3-29-01
The big comic is out! I'm very happy. Happy belated birthday to my sis! Lots of new stuff to tell you about. Too tired...-josh!

3-25-01
So how are you? Welcome to my daily ranting. I went to the They Might Be Giants show last night and had a great time. I got some awesome pics I'll put on here soon, too. I only got to see less than half of it because of work. They played "Subliminal" (my favorite TMBG song) so I can't complain. I also got to hang out with Jimmy and Emily of my Midtown past. I'm glad they were there, which I kinda knew they would be because Emily loves the band. The other big show going on in good ol' St. Pete last night was the Dropkick Murphys show. They kept coming into my work and hanging out. I gave the lead singer one of my comics. I always tend to do that: give comics to singers of bands, either on purpose or not. What do you care? -josh!

3-23-01
Where the Hell has Josh been?! I'm right here and I guess I wasn't in the mood to add to the daily words until now. Let's see what there is to tell. I actually got invited to the big ol' Comic Con International in San Diego! It's the largest comic convention in the world and it looks like Lauren and I will be going in July. We've been working very hard to get the independent media/resource center open and it is a few steps closer to that happening. We got a space, a new name, and morale within the collective has been boosted. Ha ha ha. We are going to be opening the Center of Radical Empowerment, or CORE for you die-hard acronym buffs. There's a dinner and silent auction we're having on Monday. You can buy some ultra-rare stuff of mine I donated. For more info, go here:

http://www.geocities.com/TheCORECenter

The big comic was delayed for a few days with me working on other projects. I was asked to design the invitations for this party to promote theatre unity. It turned out REALLY good. I hate a lot of my stuff but this turned out cool, at least the art because that's all I did. You don't have to look at my shoddy writing.

Speaking of writing, I did my piece for my new writing job in "Tanuk Times," the STASH Magazine spin-off. I wrote something like a tabloid article. Maybe it's real. Who knows.

The fabtastic Ivan Brunetti sent me some stuff. Thank you so much! Look at my links for some of his work including one to a comic he did called "The Crack Babies." Hmm...that reminds me. The Leftover Crack album will be out soon! Hoo-rah! That's new style Choking Victim for youze out there who don't know what I'm talking about. I finally got to 8000! I'm going to see They Might Be Giants! That's it.

3-14-01
Tonight, me and the rest of the staff if STASH Magazine hung out and painted pottery, which was so damn fun. I like hanging around everyone. I painted me a Gizmo, from Gremlins and a tile of my comic version. We also discussed the new publication they'll be doing where us "bad boys" of STASH will have free reign to write about what we want and draw what we want. I can't wait!

The big comic is going good. I'm promoting the hell out of it. I sent my e-newsletter to almost 2000 people.

I'm going to be drawing this guy's comic! I sent a bunch of flyers out in the mail and this one person responded saying he's been looking for an artist. I'll keep you posted. That's it. New Comic of the Week soon. -josh!

3-13-01 (part 2)
All 28 pages of the full-sized comic are done with the exception of inking about 10 of them. So...That means I'll have this book out on time for April Fool's Day.

3-13-01
I got my ticket for the They Might Be Giants show here in a couple weeks! Yay! I can't wait to see them. It's been rainy and humid here all day. Oh well. I need to work on my comic. It's quickly coming along. I can't believe it. I'm been kicking some ass this year on new books and strips. Thanks to everyone for the continued support. I try to make you smile or laugh. -josh!

3-12-01
Ahhh...A nice and beautiful morning here in FL. Lauren just left for her spring break trip driving to one of the Carolinas (I think North). I caged her rat who has gotten the run of the house since he's figured out different ways of escaping. Hopefully, he stays there. I was painting last night and the damn thing kept pestering me. But, yeah, I made an actual painting on canvas to be auctioned off at a benefit dinner for the resource center. It's pretty neat looking. I hope someone buys it.

I started inking the full-sized comic's main story. It's getting there. I still plan on having it done by the 1st. Pre-order one from me for $2.50 postage-paid. What else is going on? Let me know. -josh!

3-9-01
Hey all! Last night, I went and saw Link 80 and Voodoo Glow Skulls at The State Theatre. It was great. I had a fun time. I went by myself but I ended up hanging out with Skater Dan himself for awhile. Link 80 didn't play "Slap". :( The Voodoo Glow Skulls are big guys! You don't want to get them pissed. They had this one kid playing that looked like me, though. It was awesome.

I'm going to be featured along with the comics on a e-zine type site coming up for their April/May issue with some other artists. It's http://www.house-of-pain.com for anyone interested.

Lauren just finished designing the site for her film fest she's having next month (http://www.geocities.com/filmmanifestival). Nervous Charles is going to have a movie shown in it. Hoo-rah Patrick! Ruckus is dreaming right now and her little feet are atwitching. Chase them birds, puppy! -josh!

3-8-01
Added new stuff to the catalog page including info on the new 'zines my stuff is being featured in. Um...that's it. -josh!

3-7-01
Hi. The wonderous Ruckus and I spent time at the park of Round Lake by our place today. It was so nice and peaceful. I had fun. The new Comic of the Week is up. It's one of the OLD Lou comics. Hope you can read it. My big comic is coming along very well. That's it. -josh!

3-6-01
Heya! I got me some issues of Burn Brandon #7! It's a 'zine from around here and it's really cool. The gracious Bob Suren used all the stuff I sent him which was the first two punk comics, Jump! and the comic strips flyer. Thank you! I added my March comic column and the article about the George Orwell Resource Center to my Writings page. Check them out! -josh!

3-5-01 (part 2)
Finally got the Comic of the Week up. It's the second one that ran in my high school paper. I also put scans up of the new minis on the catalog page. -josh!

3-5-01
Hey! I'm all tired because my stupid landlady called early this morning and I was kept awake for awhile being all pissed off at her. What a filthy trash bag! I have nothing else to say. I'm hungry. Oh, I guess I did. -josh!

3-4-01
Hiya! What's new? Stu and his girlfriend came down here to FL over the past few days and it was so good to see him. I missed him a lot. I didn't get much time to hang out with him though. It rained today for the first time in awhile. It doesn't rain much here and the drought drags on into the third year. It was great. Lauren and I slept really good through it after she surprised me with breakfast. Ruckus the Wonder Pup was scared of the thunder. Poor doggie. My first full-sized comic is coming along nicely. I have 6 of the 28 pages pencilled and the front and back covers are done. That's it. Have a great day everyone! -josh!

3-1-01
For the two or three of you out there looking for a new Comic of the Week, here comes an explanation: My scanner died or fell asleep or something. It doesn't want to work and my Photoshop has decided to join it. Soooo...no new comic, no scans of the new minis, and no new pics of Ruckus the Supa-Dog. Have no fear, though, because you can still read this if you are in fact reading it. I've begun work on my first full size comic! It's going to be 24-28 pages and cost $2.50. I plan on having a new 8-page story in there and then the rest will be made up of other humorless schtuff that you've never seen before. Look for this around the beginning of next month. I'll keep you posted. I sold another thing on the Art for Sale page! Hoo-rah! Ummm...that's it for now. Enter the contest. -josh!

2-28-01
I have two new comics out. They are Mini-Comics #29 and #30. They're limited to 25 copies each so get one today. That is all.

2-27-01
Hi there. What can I write? I voted today for a new mayor. First time voting. It felt good. I saw Buster Keaton's "The Cameraman" at the Tampa Theatre a few days ago. It was great! My darling Lauren got me another J. Otto Seibold/Vivian Walsh children's book. They do the Mr. Lunch books and did the "Olive the Other Reindeer" book. They're beautiful. It's been nice and warm here. I hope everyone plans on enetering my first contest on the site. There's been a couple people who've entered so far. I'm watching a live Lawrence Arms show on my computer right now. Hmm...Oh yeah! Mini-Comic #29 and #30 will be out sometime this week. Order them if you want. There's only going to be 25 of each. No more. That will bring my grand total of comics up to 75! My goal is to finally reach 100 by the end of this year. Speaking of goals and numbers, Nick Brandt has told me if I get 10,000 hits on my site by May 31st (the one year anniversary of the site), he'll buy three things off of the Art for Sale page. Yay! That's it. -josh!

2-22-01
Check out the new pages!

2-21-01 (part 2)
New Comic of the Week! It's an old one that I colored and relettered. Hope you enjoy! -josh!

2-21-01
I wish I would keep up on my daily words, but no. I need to add a new comic of the week. Do you care? I love our little doggie. Ruckus is really cute. Judge for yourself on the Pictures page. I'm just scrambling for content to write. Oh well. -josh!

2-18-01
I made some of the stuff on the site better looking. See if you can find it. -josh!

2-17-01
I just got back from a cartoon/animation workshop over at the Salvador Dali Museum and it was great. It was me and some kids but I had an excellent time. I met this cool little artist named Nick Herting, who is 8 years old. He has the same sense of humor as me and we goofed off and just drew some stuff. He's a lot better at it than me. We ran around drinking hot chocolate as we laughed at the strange and unusual things we were thinking up. Nick has a huge knowledge of some art techniques that I've just learned in the past few years.

I'm going to be shuffling things around on the site. I'm bored with it. I want to see what I can come up with. -josh!

2-15-01
Last night for Valentine's Day, Lauren and I went to Casa Tina in Dunedin for dinner. We met up with Rob and Megan of George Orwell Collective fame. It was nice. We all had a good time. If you came to the site via www.joshcomics.com or joshcomics.com, then you already saw the new little logo thing I put up. If not, go check it out. Tell me what you think. -josh!

2-13-01
Hi. I can't think of anything to write.

2-11-01
I got my copies of the new STASH and it appears that they got flack for running "Jump, Motherfucker, Jump!" last month. Here is part of Steve Powell's editorial:

"Hello there, to start with, let me apologize for 'Jumping' a bit too far out there on the edge. We tested some comic humor that although riotously funny was probably too expressive for some of our readers. We will try to turn the temperature down a little next issue."

I found this to be really funny and great for me. It shows me I can cause trouble with my art and comics. I will soon be adding the columns from the magazine, too. You can find them right here on the Daily Words page.

Ken got here today and we just hung out and I showed him and his girlfriend Tara a bunch of different stuff. I'm exhausted. The dog is, too. We took her with us. That's it. -josh!

2-10-01
I'm just chilling out with the windows open and listening to music. It's nice. I don't really have anything to do but I should draw. I just realized I only slept for three hours. Oh well. I have to work in about 5 hours. Where is Ken?

2-9-01
Stick-People Scum-Bags #5 is done, out there, and ready to be used as toilet paper. Buy one from me. There's 200 of them to get rid of. It's so nice and warm. Good old Ken Hammer is going to be arriving in St. Pete tomorrow. He decided to do what I did and high-tail it out of Saginaw. It'll be nice having a Saginaw pal living here. I bought Lauren a nice bookcase yesterday as a Valentine's Day present. It took three hours to put together. It was worth it, though. She likes it and I actually didn't screw it up. It is a nice addition to our lovely home. We went to Ybor City last night so she could see Rainer-Maria. I pissed her off by talking shit about the band but then I shut up and we had a good time. I have a loud mouth. That's it. -hsoj!

2-7-01 (part 2)
After 3 hours of arduous work, I finally got new stuff up. Buy something on the "Art for Sale" page. -josh!

2-7-01
I sold the little punk painting today. That got me thinking of adding new stuff to the "Art fot Sale" page. Check it out.

2-6-01
I've added the new comic of the week. I just got done redecorating my little art room. It's so nice and organized. Stick-People Scum-Bags #5 should be out this week. I finished the last rough comic for it last night. My mouth is still killing me but I'm fine. Hmm...that's it for now. -josh!

2-5-01
Hello. I just received films from Nervous Charles himself, Patrick Andrews in preparation for the film fest Lauren is putting on in late April. They are spectacular pieces of work. Someday, I may add clips of them to the site. I almost have my March column done. It deals with female comic creators. The new comic of the week will be up tomorrow, I think. That's it! -josh!

2-4-01
Well, what can I write today? I'll just write a bunch of junk. My mouth is killing me as my wisdom teeth proceed to grow into my other teeth and into my cheek. That'd be great if a tooth grew out of my cheek and I could use it to hang, for example, a coat on it. I kind of want to cut my hair and have just a weird patch like I have sometimes growing out for me to dye such ridiculous colors. Everytime I cut my hair, though, I always think that I shouldn't have and then I'm mad because it'll take longer for it to grow again. Maybe I'll just grow it to hippie length and beat myself up. Talking with the amazing Cheng Kue on the computer right now. The most harcore of them all, Ken Hammer, called me to tell me he's moving to St. Petersburg. It'll be fun having a Saginaw person down here to show the sites and hang out with again. I don't really hang out with anyone since Jason left for New Orleans except for Lauren. I do enjoy being around her all the time, though. I do believe that this is the longest thing I've written on here in a long time. Here's a story now for you long-term fans of the site:

The youngest boy in a family of 27 decided he had to go and get a job instead of mooching off his parents. He finds a quaint shop in the mall where he is immediately hired as a book salesman. He has to get people to purchase some of the latest and greatest books on the market. He attacks an old woman to try to have her buy a Trade Paperback collection of some lame-o Spider-Man comics. His boss sees him do this and the lad gets fired. He attacks his ex-boss with the 300 page Spider-Man book and draws a multitude of blood. The book store stays closed for about a week. THE END
-josh!

2-1-01 (part 2)
New pictures up and "Jump 2" is up! -josh!

2-1-01
Well, welcome to a whole new month of Daily Words. I'm almost done with "Jump, Motherfucker, Jump 2" so that might be up by the end of the night. I might have some new pictures up, too.

I took Lauren out to eat and to a very cozy bed & breakfast last night for her birthday. It was located right on the Bay in awesome Olde Southeast. We woke up and ate and then walked along the water with it being already around 70. It was really nice. I love her so much and I think I made yesterday pretty special. Happy Birthday, again, baby!

Check out Oliver Brunson's site:

www.wanda-egirl.com

I think you'll dig it. I do. He's going to have his guestbook up soon so when he does, leave him some response.

1/30/01
New comic of the week is up. Check it out and let me know what you think by signing the guestbook or posting a message. -josh!

1/29/01
I made a cake today early for Lauren's birthday, which is on Wednesday. She's going to be 22. The cake was really crappy but I tried. I'm trying to cook more and become more efficient in the kitchen for her. It was nice today and it's supposed to get warmer. It was in the mid-70's. The apartment looks beautiful and I have everything organized for once. I'm working on writings and stuff as well as my much put off packet I'm doing for a Weekly Planet presentation maybe. There's hope of possibly getting a weekly strip in there. I just have to work really hard.

Upcoming stuff for February:

Stick-People Scum-Bags #5
The jerks with no bones return to cause you misery. The mini-comic love keeps on coming.

Mini-Comic #29
A collection of junk I've had laying around. First new mini in the series in over 2 years.

Josh Sullivan Adventures #18
This book focuses on Lou a little more as he tries to bring peace between Josh and his suicidal twin. A must-not-have.

(Not So) Quarterly Comic #10
This book may never actually see the light of day but if and when it does come out, you'll get treated to the first full-sized comic of mine. I have a few pages and the cover looks fairly nice.

Feb. Comic Column in STASH
This month's column focuses on my love for all things comic when I was younger (and still going strong today) and talks about how the good times are gone.

Well, that's it. Go away. -josh!

1/26/01
Anyone have a record player? Give it to me. I got an old Slapstick 7" with two songs I've never heard on it. I trashed my other record players. Hmm...What's new? "Hey You! Jump, too!" (the "Jump, Motherfucker, Jump" sequel) is in development. Stick-People Scum-Bags #5 was put off but that is almost done. Does anybody out in the world want this stuff? I will be awesome to you if you order some from me. I sell them otherwise but I want to start selling them through the mail again. Where is everyone? Ahhhh!! ha ha ha. I'm going to go watch "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" now. -josh!

1/25/01
The new comic of the week is up and it's actually an old one. It was one of the strips I did for the Arthur Hill HIgh School Newspaper way back when. Yesterday, I got me a tape of a Slapstick show. It's so cool. I love it. I have a scan up of Josh Sullivan Adventures #17 on the Catalog Page. They're going fast! -josh!

1/23/01
Post something on the message board or sign the guestbook. I want to read new stuff! -josh!

1/22/01
I made copies of JSA #17 today and they look really good. Get one today for a quarter.

1/21/01
New punk comic is up! I have a new issue of The Josh Sullivan Adventures (#17)! I'm working like crazy! -josh!

1/19/01
Heya! I got the new punk comic done. It's the third in the series and it's entitled "Another Bad Day," taken from a Vindictives song. The frail punk always has bad days so I thought it fit. There's a new comic of the week up and I'm adding more and more stuff all the time so check back. -josh!

1/17/01
Got some new stuff up. A couple new pics and something new on the "Art for Sale" page. I have very limited editon prints currently available of some art on glossy paper and then more very soon.

I got a mention in the local music magazine FOCUS that I saw yesterday. Under the editor's "Top Ten New Year's Resolutions" was: Make Josh Sullivan the next Gary Trudeau. This was awesome to see. I've never met the guy and I had no idea about it. It was neat to see something written about the comics in such a way. That's it. E-mail me. -josh!

1/14/01
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUSEL AND KEN!!!
The new STASH magazine is out with the stuff I wrote. "Jump, Motherfucker, Jump!" is in there too. You can check out the column and The Globe article at:

http://www.stashmagazine.com

Art prints are also going to be sold through the site. I'm planning on making very limited glossy prints (hopefully). Other things: The one and only ChrisJ of Spark-Online fame is starting an e-zine at:

http://www.freaknikzine.com

The first edition will have "The Best Day Ever" comic. Sink Hole 'Zine #3 is out with the first three comics of the week in it. I have half of Stick-People Scum Bags #5 done. I want to have it out by the end of the month. I set up the site for the collective that is planning on opening a resource center/media center in dowtown St. Petersburg at:

http://www.georgeorwellresourcecenter.org

That's all for now. Sign the guestbook, post a meesage, or e-mail me. -josh!

1/10/01
Hey there! Sign the new guestbook for the new year and let me know what's going on. Tell me what you think of the new comic of the week. It's my first attempt at a color comic. I found out last night that I am going to be doing art for articles in IMPACT now! This is very exciting to me because it will be all over the country. The new Uprising is coming out and there will be something in there. Hopefully, I have the third punk comic done. Uh, that's it for now. Bye-bye. -josh!

1/7/01
I'm back! I took some time off from working on the site and now I come back and there's tons to do. I had to get a new guestbook up for some reason and I've yet to fix the counter. I was going to write about the lovely trip Lauren and I took to MI but I won't. Too long, I suppose. It is so nice out today. I have all the windows open and it is around 70. I'll slowly get back into adding more stuff including new comics of the week. -josh!

12/24/00
Well, a year is almost up. I thought it would be nice to talk about the site today. I started this newer site on May 30th and it was just a journal-type site at first. It was like that for three months. I got my own computer and it slowly began to take off. I want to thank all of you who come here and check this stuff out. I like having a place I can talk about the events of the day or post my comics that aren't funny. The site has been changed about 800 times and sometimes no one ever gets to look at it how it was because I change it so quickly. If you're reading this, post a message on the message board and sign the guestbook. You don't know how happy it makes me to read new entries, even if they're just to say hi. Happy Holidays from the Comic Dork.

12/23/00
I still can't talk good. Grr...

12/20/00
Hello, readers! I can't really talk. My voice keeps going in and out and I strain to talk. I sound like a baby walrus or something. We took the dog to the vet the other day. She has heartworm. We're going to get her better, though. We found out she's an old woman, too. Ruckus is 9! Senior citizen discount for her. I got a lot of issues of the new IMPACT. You want one? The back cover looks ok. I don't know what to type. There is a bunch of new comic stuff that was almost completed that I lost. I have the third punk comic all drawn up somewhere and "Jump 2" is floating around in an alley right now I think. Sink Hole 'Zine #3 will be out in a week with something by me. Look for it. The 80's Kids' Chronicle #8 seems to be only available through mailorder. Look at my links for more info. I still like the comic I did for that. Come back to us "The 80's." I wrote enough. Sign the guestbook and post unusual messages on the board. -that josh punk.

12/17/00
I'm working on the site and I added most of the scans for the work I've done on the catalog page. Check it out. -Josh!

12/15/00
Hi there. My name's Josh. I just wrote this. Glad you read it.

12/13/00 (part 2)
Well, I finally got rid of that jerk that flips you off on the page. Now, you are treated to a ghost. Hoo-ray! I'll get better. I promise. Hmmm...what's new? I wrote the sequel to "Jump, Motherfucker, Jump!" today. You might not care. I made a flyer composed of the first three Comics of the Week so write if you want that. Sinkhole 'Zine #3 is going to be out soon and will have something new in there, I hope. I have a funny comic I'm working on about a dog and stuff. You'll see someday. Starting the new year, all subsequent issues of STASH will have my new comic column in it. I have a bunch written already for February. Check it out if you live in the Tampa Bay area.

I'm listening to the theme song of "The Adventures of Pete and Pete": "Hey, Sandy" by Polaris right now. Man, I miss that show. If I saw any of the episodes right now, it would take me back to the fun days of when I would stay in all weekend and watch TV and draw. I would make sure to be watching Nickelodeon at 4pm on Sat. to see the Petes. I would then think about watching the show when the episodes were new. The lives the characters lived was so much like a comic book. I mean, Little Pete even had his own personal super hero! How can you go wrong with that? A lot of good shows aren't on anymore. Damn the crap. Bring forth the better viewing entertainment. I feel childhood slowly creeping away. Eep! -Josh!

12/13/00
Added the new Comic of the Week. Hope you enjoy. -that josh kid

12/12/00
It's so warm again. Above 80 and humid. Most delightful, I do say. I added more stuff to the catalog page including listings for new flyers I did. Well, that's it. Tune in tomorrow for the new Comic of the Week. -josh!

12/10/00
It has been exactly one year now since I left Saginaw. It seems like so long ago. I never would have imagined I would be where I am now back when Stu and I were driving out of Michigan. I struggled, I worked at the restaurant, got my own apartment, I got stuff published in some major magazines, I made great friends, I met the love of my life, learned the tools of the trade of a coffee shop, moved again, got a new apartment, got a dog, and so on. It's been such an incredible year and I'm working harder than ever to continue that into 2001.

Things of note: STASH Magazine Vol. 1 Issue 7 is out with the "Does this make sense?" comic in it all the way from Aug. 1997. I guess that one stood the test of time. The Dec./Jan. issue of IMPACT press is out with art by me on the back cover. IMPACT is distributed all over the country. John Ostler's and Blake Capell's new issue of The 80's Kids' Chronicle is out with the comic I drew for them entitled "The Adventure of an 80's Kid." I still plan on having a new Comic of the Week up every week. They should be changed on Wednesday if things go accordingly. Josh Sullivan Adventures #17 has been delayed but should be out sometime before the new year. The cover is beautiful. Excellent use of Comic Me yelling at Cliff. I'll think of more later. -josh!

12/9/00
I just changed the www.joshcomics.com and joshcomics.com pages so they work right and no ads are on the bottom when you enter the site. Hoo-ray! How's the new Comic of the Week? Let me know. That is all. It's warm out. I believe it to be 82 degrees today. Yay! -Josh, king of exclamation points!

12/6/00 (part 2)
Added the new Comic of the Week.

12/6/00
Hi there, hey there, ho there. This is your friendly neighborhood Josh. Check out my links for the STASH mag one. I'm on the staff page. I look like a goon. I might add a new comic of the week today. I don't know. I think I want to change them on Saturday. Get outta here!

12/4/00
I need to get some major writing done. I can't believe I can't knock anything out. There is the paper for STASH about my work and my column writing about comics. I've been really tired. I don't know if I'm not eating enough or what. I made spaghetti last night and I didn't really eat a lot of it. I ate a bunch of ice cream today. I sometimes miss meat. I type stuff up on here in weird ways. Post something on the message board, Harriet!

12/3/00
A Sterling Affair the other night was great. I went with Attorney at Large Bill Donlon and we talked crap about everyone and had a good time. They took my art from the invites and made a mold of it to make chocolate bar suckers! They look awesome. This is by far the weirdest thing my art has been. Bill ended up getting the ornament I designed in the auction for $50.

Today, I went to the meeting of STASH magazine. I talked about a bunch of stuff and ended up getting my own column! As well as writing about different stuff going on, I now can write about comics on a monthly basis. Yay! I get business cards, too, that say "Josh Sullivan Comic Artist/Columnist." I feel good about that. It's another of my goals met. I always wanted to write about comics for The Saginaw News because the guy that did them didn't do a good job and he was writing from The Cleveland Plain Dealer anyway. Lauren and I then went over to the Food Not Bombs serving in Williams Park and I ran with Ruckus and she chased birds. She's pretty tired out now. I realized the dog loves squirrels. It's probably her favorite meal. Yummm.....squirrels. Yuck! -Josh!

12/1/00
Hello December. This morning was really fun. There was a protest against the Chamber of Commerce wanting to move the downtown bus depot out of Williams Park to 30 blocks away and fencing off the park possibly. Williams Park is a block-sized park right here in downtown St. Petersburg that the homeless sometimes sleep in and there are feedings to help them out, too. I sometimes help out with Food Not Bombs in the park. Lauren is a major contributor to Food Not Bombs and she would be able to write more info on it. I'll have to get her to when she gets home. Anyway, we marched around outside and said things like "Homelessness is not a crime," "Poverty is not a crime," and "Mental illness is not a crime." We marched around the eyesore known as Baywalk, an expensive trash-hole, as cops looked on. They were all laughing and having a good ol' time until a ton of people turned out and marched with us. Then they were looking freaked out and pissed off like cops do. Ha ha ha. I had my big fat trechcoat on. I felt cool for just a short period of time at least.

I have to get ready for A Sterling Affair tonight. I'm going to get schnazzy! It's for a good cause in which it supports kids affected or inflicted with AIDS. I think it'll be fun. It's a fundraiser type event. I'll write more later and maybe have new pics up. -josh!

11/30/00
Ahhhh...the end of the month. Happy birthday today to Lou, Bobby, and Rachel. You're all 20 now. Ha Ha. I designed a Christmas ornament that is going to be auctioned off tomorrow night at A Sterling Affair 2000. I wonder how much it'll go for. The new mini-comic is about halfway gone. I don't think I will make anymore copies. The four-year anniversary of the comic books is in two weeks. I want to have some new stuff up by then to celebrate. I might make something on the Weekly Comic section. Hmmm...it's warm today. I need to buy the dog food. Bye-bye.

11/29/00
I have added the new Weekly Comic section to the site. Hope you dig that. The new comics are still junk, though. Let me know what you think of the site. -JOSH!

11/28/00
I'm going to keep working on the stuff I make to look better and better for the animation thing I have up. I think it's addictive. He hates being touched. That's why he flips you off. I'm such a putz. -josh!

11/27/00 (part 2)
Well, I've gotten the site a little better looking. I don't think you care.

11/27/00
I'm still working on the site. Let me know what you think of it. Next up, new art scans!

11/24/00
Well, I'm back from the Thanksgiving fun in Citrus County and we now have a new addition to the family. No, I'm not #1 dad as one of my shirts say but we have a dog, now. Lauren was driving yesterday morning to get stuff for the dinner and she had her cousins with her. They then saw a dog walking right in the middle of the road so she tried to get it out of the way but as soon as she pulled up to it, the dog was trying to jump in the car. She brought it back to her dad's and we gave it a bath and fed it and played with it. Lauren's cousin Bethani named it for us. Our dog is Ruckus. I'll have pictures up soon. It's really good and nice. She is sleeping right by me right now.

Anyway, I had fun and it is really nice out. It's about 80 and I have to take off now to get some crap done. Yeesh. Adios. -josh!

11/22/00
I drew some logos last night for Bill Nord's comedy troupe(?) Flapjacks and Fannypacks. Check out the links for the site. Well, I'm bored. Read some of the stuff on the site. I sold another thing! -Josh!

11/21/00
I am now in an excellent mood. I feel really good and it is a nice fall day out. It is cool outside. Brings back the memories of Fall back in Trashinaw. I've been drawing and that is probably why I feel better. I have to just keep on myself and draw everyday like the old days. I am so far behind in what I want to be doing right now with the comics. I miss having the goal of making a comic a week. Well, that is all. Bye-bye. -Josh!

11/20/00
I really don't want to write anything happy or upbeat. I'm in another of my crap moods where the whole world is annoying. This is the revenge for myself annoying the world. p.s. I just remembered I bought cheesecake! Score one towards happiness! -Josh!

11/19/00
I guess I'm a part of the staff of STASH magazine now. Ha ha ha. I get to do a monthly comic of whatever I want so, yay! The damn realtor of this building came by and bothered me and came in the apt. and asked if my mom was here. You see, they're trying to sell the house and the landlord said that whoever buys it would probably buy it as an investment so we wouldn't have to move. Well, the realtor is supposed to call and she never did. This is the second time she came over. Yesterday morning Lauren and I were sleeping in. We had just woken up when this harpy was banging on the door screeching "REALTOR!" I think it was funny when I told her this was my apt. because she thought I was 12 or something. I don't want to be bothered. Everyone calls when I'm sleeping which pisses me off. I guess it's my fault for not turning off the ringer. I sure as hell don't want no buffoons bugging me at home by dragging their fat ass up the stairs only to pound on the door and proceed to let themselves in. As you can tell, this has made me a little upset. Hee-hee! Whoa! Look at that. I wrote a bunch on here for a change. Talk to you later, gangstas. -Josh!

11/18/00
We just got back from spending a wonderful day together. We went to Fort DeSoto and hung out on the beach and it was so nice. It was about 80 degrees. I love spending time with Lauren and I'm so glad she's back. Yay! Um...that's it. Bye-bye for now. Love, josh!

11/17/00
Hey! Look at this; I've actually been keeping up on my daily words. I cleaned the apartment today and it looks very nice. Jason once called me Danny Tanner. I can thank the restaurant for my cleanliness I suppose. I have to work soon. I didn't really sleep. I hope I can make it to 4am. I've done it before so oh well. Check out the message board for books I'm working on. I have the Jump! comic coming out in STASH magazine hopefully and the back cover I did for IMPACT will be out soon. I can't wait to see how it looks.

I got $5 in the mail today for comics! Yay! It's been awhile since that happened. I guess no one else wants the new comic. *sniff sniff* I'll sell them at the Cerebral Arts Fest if I can. Geez...I'm blabbing again. Well, sign my guestbook if you're reading this. I love getting new entries. Join the role playing game and pit your wits against the others. Lauren gets back soon. I cannot wait to see her. Eep, opp, ork, ahh-ahh! -Josh!

11/16/00
Nothing new really. Just wasting some space on here. I can't wait for Lauren to get back. I'm going to draw all night if this headache doesn't get to me before that.

11/15/00
Check out the new pic I did of Cyber-Sullivan. Nick the knife is in it, too. Lauren is in NYC. We haven't been apart from each other for more than a day since we've been together. Wahhh! She'll be back on Friday. It'll be okay. I had the feeling all day I was in Saginaw. It's cool out. It isn't too bad but it's just way cooler than it usually is. I'm too used to the 80-85 degree temperatures. I'm glad I was motivated to draw today. I have the next three punk comics written out and about 100 pages of Josh Sullivan Adventure stuff to go through. The new Stick-People Scum-Bags will be out soon. I think that's going to be the next book I'll have. Get the new #9, too. The role-playing game has gotten more members. I guess that's it. -josh!

11/12/00
I have a new comic up that I just got from Rachel Humphrey that I haven't seen since I drew it about a year and a half ago. Thank you Rachel for going the extra mile and finding it for me and scanning it! Read the fun review of my crappiest free mini on the DSR Review link I have up. It's a riot. It's almost 6am and you've been listening to nonsense.

11/11/00
The new comic is out and it's doing pretty good so far. I sold a nice amount at work during the night. That's it. I'm tired. It's 4:30am. Oh yeah, the RPG is going to go into full swing soon!

11/8/00
The new comic is almost done....almost! The cover is up on the site. I'm working very hard on art stuff again. It's great. The new flyer for The Globe is awesome. I'll have that scanned up tomorrow probably. More and more is slowly being put on here. I hope you've been enjoying the site so far. It has come a very long way from when it was just a journal type site all the way from late May to late July. I hope to hear from everyone soon. -Josh!

11/6/00
Hola. The RPG now has 32 characters available and more will be added. This means that you can now choose from a whole variety. The game has taken off nicely and I hope to be getting more people into it very soon. I know I have a bunch of comic dork friends. Ok, back to that wrectched 9th big comic I'm doing...

11/5/00
It's 5am and I'm just a typing. It's so nice and foggy out. It takes me back to when I first got down here and Jason and I hung out in the fog. This is great being up! Working late is all good when I can get home and still work on other stuff. I worked more on the 9th big comic last night. I will be done with it soon. Please send me your dollar for it. Lauren thinks my comics will make me a bum. I always give them away. Man, I was going to write more but I can't remember what it was. Oh well, I'm boring anyway. -Josh!

11/4/00
The pictures are all back up. If you find any that don't work then let me know. Art things have been busy. I'm busting my ass on this new comic of mine. No one will like it and I will cry. The RPG on the message board has been so much fun. Get involved if you're into that sort of thing. I'm not really and I still love it. Hmmm....what else? Well, it's November and it doesn't feel like it. The weather is so great. I wish I could send some of it up to the midwest. I miss everyone. Joe, I'll send you a copy of the Lawrence Arms interview soon. (note to self: get more sinkhole #2's) I finally drew an awesome flyer for The Globe. That's what I have to work on today. Sterling's Christmas party invites came together nicely. I'll have scans of all this stuff soon. Anyways, I'll talk to you later. Yer comic bitch, Josh!

10/31/00
John Ostler added a link to the site. His site is for the incredible 80's Kids' Chronicle. Check it out on my links page. I have the next three punk comics written out so expect those hopefully soon. I'm working really hard to get the new comic book out. Order one if you'd like one. Adam Hamlin and Josh Griffith still want you to join the JS Fan Club. Look at the message board for more information. Hopefully you didn't go out and beg for candy. I'm tired. The toilet is broken. My hands hurt. bye-bye.

10/29/00
This is what I wrote for today.

10/28/00
Ok. I can't figure what is wrong with the pics so I took all the old ones off and renamed the new ones so they are read as gifs. They work and I updated the site a little as you can tell. Ummmm.....there's a bunch of crap I want to add to here but I need the time. I'll surprise everyone. -josh!

10/24/00
Sink Hole #2 is out with the "Jump!" comic in it. I updated the Sink Hole site, also. The second children's book I did is also complete and I have a scan of it on my catalog page. Work is fun and so is the new place. I need to draw. Look for a whole bunch more stuff on here and leave a message on the message board. Click the halloween picture, you!

10/23/00
There's a new message board up on the site. Type yer little heart out. -josh the josher

10/21/00
Hello all! It's 9:26 am and I'm typing up a storm. Lauren and I are in our new place. For those of you who didn't know, we had to get out of "The Manor" because of development and they were going to tear down the building for bigger and better apartments. There's a bunch of stuff I'm trying to think of that's been going on. Some of the pics on the site aren't working. I don't know why. Yahoo can be a huge pain in the ass.

I've been working at The Globe Coffee Lounge after my departure from Midtown. I can't get my check from there! The owner's wife has it locked up and only she can get it and I don't want to talk to her. Grrrrrrr...Anyway, I've been meeting cool people at the coffee shop and it is so hard to keep track of names nowadays but they all seem to remember my goonie self. I'm sorry. I've gotten done with some art stuff and as soon as I get more settled down I have my new comic book coming out for a dollar. IMPACT Press is publishing a variation of the Wither flyer for a back cover so look for that in December. I designed the invitations for A Sterling Affair this year! It's an annual event put on by Sterling Powell to help out kids who otherwise wouldn't have a good Christmas. I still have to work on something for the ads...Sheesh! I love being busy, though. "Work creates work." That's my favorite quote and it's cool that it's by my favorite comic artist, Evan Dorkin. It's true. I've done something and then another art thing has been offered to me. It never would have been like that in Suckinaw. I'm very happy and honored to be doing so much different art stuff. It's what I live for. That and that beauty I live with now and cereal.

The curfew didn't pass! So many people were against it and the city council meeting was packed the other night. Lauren and I were there. They kept yelling at people for clapping. We left early and went to Eric Rubin's house. We then had more work given to us so hoo-ray. We are really busy with so much stuff. That's why I'm very amazed that we got all my junk over to the new place and Lauren made everything look good. That's it. -Josh!

10/16/00
This is something I forgot to put on here but they wanted me to so here goes. If you can believe this, Josh Griffith and Adam Hamlin are starting the Josh Sullivan Fan Club. It's going to be free and I know for sure that you'll get a card with a goony and quite embarassing picture of me on it. There will be other stuff and I'm betting that this will turn into the JS Hate Club. Hoo-ray! For more information, send an e-mail to:

rocktboy12a@gateway.net

10/15/00
This is the last thing I'm going to write on here for awhile. I've decided to leave this stupid site alone and devote more time to other things. So, I'll talk to everyone later. -Josh!

10/13/00
This has been the best birthday ever and it's only 15 minutes old! I owe it all to the best girlfriend in the whole world, Lauren. She really did a lot for me. I love her a lot.

Ok, first she got me new shoes, which is like feeding me. Automatic smile! Then, she fed me! We ate at The Ovo Cafe and it was really nice. Next up, she took me to go see the play "Gunshy" at American Stage. It was so good. We got back home and she went to show me something on the internet. I thought she finally got a guestbook for her site. She opened it up and I saw all the entries in a special birthday guestbook she made for all my friends to sign. Thank you everyone so much. I felt really emotional looking at it. I miss everyone a lot and it made me realize that there are those of you out there that actually remember me all the way down here in FL. I can't believe NO ONE blabbed to me about this. There were 25-26 entries. I'm greatly honored to have such great friends and such a wonderful girlfriend. I'm 19 now. Being 18 is done. I'll only be a teenager for this one last year. I'll make the most out of it. Ah, who cares, I'll still act like a teenager forever. -Josh!

10/12/00
Well, the last 24 hours of being 18. So much has happened over the past year.

I sent out a ton of stuff to people so expect something in the mail. If you don't get anything, then e-mail me and demand I send you junk. I want my check from my old job. I don't want to go in there and face anyone. I just want them to teleport it to me. Oooo......munny! I have to find another apartment because of damn development. This place is being overtaken by growth. Let me live with you, I'll give you a dollar. Why yes, I DO like cheese.

10/10/00
Hell-oh! Here's something new. It's been so nice and cool out here the past couple days. I've been feeling better and less stressed as well as more rested from not working. I have a bunch of various junk to do. E-mail me and check out the chat room. There's a big gathering tonight I think at 1am EDT. Yay!

Hey there! I have a bunch to write. I'm almost finished with the back cover for IMPACT press coming up for December. I've been keeping myself quite busy.

Yesterday, I worked for a few hours. This was probably the last time, too, because I didn't go in this morning and I have no intention of going back except to pick up my check. After working, Lauren and I got ready and Selina came over and we then headed to Tampa so she could drop off her mom's van. We got on the highway and I was annoying as hell in the back seat. I was working on some stuff and I fell asleep for a little bit. The three of us headed to Orlando for the Florida Radical Activist Network meeting at the Stone Soup Collective's space. There were a lot of people from all over the state that had gathered. After that, Selina left to get a ride with someone else and we split to go to the library so Lauren could check her e-mail. We met up with her friend Barry, who she went to high school with. He was pretty cool and it was good time. We ate at Macaroni Grill and we drew all over the table "paper." We went to Barry's for a little bit and then he led us to D.I.Y. Records just outside of Orlando. It was time for the Lawrence Arms/Lanemeyer show!

I'd been waiting very patiently for this show for awhile and I had told Marck Generous (of Sink Hole 'Zine) about me going to the show. He e-mailed me last week and asked if I wanted to interview Lawrence Arms. I went crazy. Of course I did. They're one of my favorite bands. I was really nervous when we got into D.I.Y. and it was quite a small place. This band named Brownie Points was playing. They were a cool little young ska band. After they played, I went over and bought all the LA stuff and asked the guy that was there where the band was. He pointed out to me Neil, the drummer of the band. I was getting really geeky. I walked up to him and asked about the interview and then he pointed to Brendan, the singer. As soon as I turned around, he said, "Cool shirt!" I was wearing a shirt of an old Slapstick flyer that was an iron-on transfer. He liked it. I was so ecstatic. I was standing there talking to my favorite singer ever. I asked him about the interview and I pulled out a copy of Sinkhole to show him what 'zine it was going to be for. He said that he had picked it up earlier in the day and that he had seen my punk comic in there! I pointed out to him that it was a little tribute to Slapstick with the second title on the comic being "Almost Punk Enough." I then talked with the guitarist Chris and then waited for them to finish setting up for the show. I was right up front and I had a huge smile on my face. They played nine songs and it was just an amazing show. I was really happy.

Afterward, I went outside and they said that they could do the interview after Lanemeyer played if I wanted. I handed out some comics and flyers to some people and they seemed to like them. Lanemeyer was really cool. While listening to them, I prepared my questions I was going to ask LA and ended up slicing open my leg on a couch spring. They got done and we went back outside and Neil and Chris were ready for the interview and Bren came out of their van and then it was time. We walked down the alley a little bit because another band, Zooey (I think), was playing. I had a tape recorder and we sat down and I started. I was really nervous because I had never interviewed anyone before, let alone Lawrence Arms! I asked some questions about the name, the tours they've been on and a few other various things. Something that was cool was that I told Joe Kletz (my friend who's a comic artist that lives in Chicago) that I was going to be interviewing these guys. He knows them and he helped me out in preparing for this. He wanted me to ask them if they knew him and then mention the name Sean Nader. I guess Joe acts just like this Sean Nader guy. Chris and Brendan's reaction was great. They were so thrown off by that and it was really neat to ask them something another interviewer wouldn't have. I think the interview went good. I listened to the tape and I think I did ok. I gave them some of my comics and I was really surprised to learn that where Brendan had picked up Sinkhole was in St. Pete! That was really cool to hear. I had them sign their CDs and I thanked them for doing the interview.

Lauren and I took off to go home. St. Petersburg is about an hour and a half away from Orlando. I slept most of the way and we got back and I was so tired. I then woke up at 7am, decided I still didn't want to go to work and then went back to sleep. I woke up at 10am and there were no messages on my machine or anything. I'm now typing this and I like not working. I'll have to find another job. Ha Ha Ha! Hope you liked reading this. I sure liked typing it. Adios!

Since I haven't written anything in a few days, now is the best time to put down my thoughts.

Work has been really horrible. My feet have been hurting and so has my back. People have been screwing up and people I have relied on have quit. It bites being in charge. I'm really tired because I don't sleep. I'm not eating right and I'm really grouchy. Last night, Lauren was talking about her site and she wondered if anyone went there; if all the hard work was for nothing. I often wonder that about this site. I spend a lot of time on it. I know people look at it because of the guestbook and the counter. A counter really means nothing, though. The comics are what I need to do. I think I might take some time off from the site because it looks the way I want it to for now. Frequenting the chat room takes up too much time. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Anyway, thanks to everyone who has been keeping in touch with me. I appreciate it a lot. It's great to hear from people. Today is the benefit garage sale for the George Orwell Collective. It's in Clearwater, so if you live in Pinellas County get out there and buy some authentic Josh Sullivan Wear. More information on the radical calendar: www.radicalcalendar.com

I couldn't think of anything to write today so I wrote this.

9/26/00 (part2)
Ok. More things. "Zapatista" is being shown tonight at The Globe here in St. Petersburg. Make it out if you can. The showing is in support of the George Orwell Collective. Alta Vista and Yahoo have both added this site to their search engines finally, so yay!

9/26/00
Just a little bit to write today. There's a slight chance I could be having some of my stuff in IMPACT Press, an awesome 'zine out of Orlando.

The other night, I redesigned the Sink Hole 'Zine site. It looks cool. Check the links page for the sites of both 'zines. I'm out.

9/24/00
Man, I'm one tired comic jerk. I'm kinda hungry, too. Right now, I'm watching the city council meeting on TV that I was at the other night. I'm waiting for me to be on there. I don't really want to see myself but I want to see if I made any sense. Probably not. I never make sense. Hold on. I'll write more in a few minutes. la.....la.....la.....la. Ok. I'm on TV right now. I look really stupid and I sound really crappy. I was nervous as hell. Geez.....I sort of made sense. Oh well, it's over. It's weird for me to be speaking out against stuff. I'm done typing.

9/23/00
I worked all day yesterday. So far today, though, it has been quite interesting. Stuart called me early in the morning and it was great talking with him. I woke up late for work and I had to do weird stuff like take apart a thermostat and put it back together so some guys could replace the wood along a wall. Today was the Great Milk Challenge.

No one I know knows anyone who can drink a gallon of milk in an hour and hold it for half that. I was somehow coaxed into trying it. There was $100 in it for me if I did it. I had taken my Quik to work so I had some chocolate and some plain. It ended up being 6 glasses total. I drank 3.5 of them. I didn't feel good after the second one and I just kept drinking a little bit here and there. There was a little crowd consisting of the cooks and most of the others working and they wanted me to puke. It was pretty funny. Dave the cook took pictures and I recorded it on my tape player. I threw up four times total and some vomit was coming out of my nose. It was great. Everyone was laughing their asses off. I even went to spit and more shot out of my mouth. Hoo-ray! Anyway, I don't smell too good right now so I'll write more later. -Josh!

9/22/00
Oh yay! More to read. OK. It's 1:05am and I have so much stuff to write on here so I'm splitting the duties with Lauren. On Wednesday, I was highly anticipating the Weekly Planet Best of the Bay 2000 issue. Lauren woke my tired ass up and we headed out in search of delightful food. We stopped to get the papers and I was in there! In the Scenes column, my picture was there among some of the cool people of Tampa Bay. Why was I there? I still am a crap comic artist. I was named a comic superstar for some reason. Ha! Ha! Ha! Sooooooo.........we snagged two or ten copies of it and headed out to finally get food. I was quite the dope and I bought a bunch of junk which keeps me ticking. Groceries are my friend. Lauren and I stopped by my work and grabbed more Weekly Planet issues. We got back and put all my crap away and I headed over to The Globe. Matt and John were there and I hung out for a little bit. I came back and we went to get Lauren's bike for Critical Mass.

I woke up on Thursday and had to chase a damn lizard out of the apt. I don't want one of them to crawl down my throat. That would be a weird experience. Work was then upon me and I did my daily mediocre job. I got out and headed over to the post office where I was surprised to have a nice box of stuff from Adam Hamlin. Thank you, Uncle Skamilton! This day was a day without cars so Lauren and I got on our bikes to make flyers for the Day of Action march that will be taking place. I'll have that scanned, too, someday. We made those and headed out on Central Ave.

We went to the Age of Reason bookstore so she could talk with the owner. I was surprised to see Sam and Emily, two people I work with and really adore, there. I took off with them and we went to a couple places and I handed out flyers. I took me some pictures, too. We walked back to the bookstore and Lauren and I left and ended up talking with Upholstery Wiz John Navarro. Then, it was to The Globe.

It was pretty fun just hanging out for a little bit and I met this guy that works on the site: www.spark-online.com, and I gave him some comics. He actually seemed to enjoy them. Conversed with JoEllen and then it was off again. This time to Williams Park. Now, Lauren will write some stuff.....

at williams park, josh & i met up with eight fellow bikers, and all 10 of us took off on a fun bike romp on the streets of st. pete. we were on a mission. we covered the whole roadway on 16th street. cars behind us weren't too happy about it, either. people were honking and yelling. it was hilarious. then, one guy in a clunky black truck almost hit ricky. he came within 8 inches of ricky's back tire. literally. so that scared us quite a bit. the guy then proceeded to engage us in a shouting match. at a stoplight, he got halfway out of his truck and screamed obscenities at us: "get a life! dickhead!" that just cracked us up again, even though we were still pretty shaken up. josh & james were taking pictures of the whole escapade, so they might be on here eventually, if josh ever gets his crap of a scanner working again. we headed down to the pier, which is a huge, weird, upside-down pyramid-shaped mall-type thing on beautiful tampa bay. we circled the pier and got into other arguments, including one with the fiesty woman who was directing traffic and told us to go away and some funny drunk guys who referred to one of our crew as "mr. laugh" because he was being a smart-ass.

we made our way back to williams park, and anthony, josh & i decided to go by city hall to hear what was going on with the talk about a citywide curfew for kids under 18. it was really cool. josh's friend matt was there, as well as the rev. bruce wright from the refuge and some other punk kids. one by one, people got up to speak either for or against the curfew. bruce and matt and others talked about how much a curfew would suck, and we just sat there listening. the people in favor of the curfew, though, said some really stupid shit, and i guess it just pissed josh off because he decided to get up in front of everyone and talk. as we all know, josh, though he's almost a manly 19, looks closer to a childish 12 years old, so he knew he would be a prime target of a city curfew. and he rides his bike around downtown late at night all the time, so he'd certainly get hassled. he told that to the council, as well as his experience with the curfew in saginaw. he made a really good point at the end of his little speech when he said that if the city was so worried about curbing crime, it should just establish a curfew for everyone. all the anti-curfew people clapped, and josh took his seat. then the council started spouting off about the curfew, and they still voted to go ahead and look into it more.

by this time, it was almost 10 p.m., and i had to be at the globe to meet up with some people to talk about the march i'm organizing in st. pete on tuesday the 26th. josh & i got some food because we were starving, having eaten only ice cream earlier in the day. josh saw sterling powell of the weekly planet there, and he started talking to him while i talked with my people. sterling wants josh to do a flier for his christmas party, and sterling also talked to josh about putting together a package to submit to the weekly planet. if they like it, josh's comics might be in there!!

anyway, now josh has lots of stuff to work on, but i know he's looking forward to it (even though he hit his head in the bathroom before, and now he's in much pain). but anyway, as he said to me earlier, he's making it. he's on his way to getting really well-known for his art. yay, josh! so remember, all you saginaw people, you should feel privileged that you knew him before he became a superstar. and i can say... well, that's none of your business...

9/20/00
Last night, we went to the meeting for the George Orwell Collective. It was good. There was a nice storm going on the whole time and we came outside to a slight flood. Whee! Lauren and I had so much different stuff to do. She worked on a flyer for the Day of Action on Sept. 26th. I'll have it scanned in as soon as I can fix my scanner. I sure do hate my scanner and I hate my computer, too. They give me so much grief. Shut up josh. Oh well.

9/19/00
Today has been fairly eventful so far. I got to sleep in, and then Lauren and I trekked to Zephyrhills to go to her sister's. We picked up her rat, and we headed to Tampa so she could interview John Sugg, editor of Weekly Planet. I took her car to St. Pete while she was doing that because we didn't want the rat to die in the heat. It was pretty fun, considering I don't drive much anymore and I got to sing really crappy. I had a good time knowing that the only person I could annoy was me. Anyway, I got back to the apartment and dropped off Sidney the Rat. Adam Hamlin had left me an adorable message with him saying something Adam-esque. I picked up some CDs to listen to, including the ever-upbeat and happy Choking Victim. Traffic was, once again, a delight as I headed back to Tampa. I got back to Ybor, where the Weekly Planet offices are, and went inside in search of my lovely journalistically inclined girlfriend. She was still interviewing so I sat outside in the car reading the CV inserts and Sinkhole. She came outside, and we took off. That's it for now. Go away and do something unless you're in Saginaw, where it's probably snowing. SHOVEL! Ok, more later. -Josh!

9/18/00 (part 2)
Mark just brought me the copies of Sinkhole and they're great! It is an awesome zine and I hope that there are many more. Check out:
www.sinkholezine.com

and get one today. YAY!

9/18/00
Just changing stuff. Ha Ha.

9/17/00
Hurricane Gordon wasn't really a big deal around here. There was a lot of junk on the ground, though. I might go to the bay and see how things are. It's only two blocks away. Ok. Sign my guestbook. -josh!

9/16/00
Lauren writes more interesting stuff than me. I don't even know what to write. Oh well. No one reads this anyway. Ha!

9/15/00

E-mail me and let me know what you think of the site. bye-bye. -Josh!

9/12/00
I had today off and I spent it with the most beautiful woman in the world. We actually worked on a new flyer for her site, www.geocities.com/radicalcalendar. It looks really good and I'll have a scan of it up soon under my Other Junk section on my Catalog page. We went to the Tampa Bay Action Group meeting and there were a lot of people. I took some time out to draw and I drew a cool pic of Buster Keaton nd Harold Lloyd as well as a "Chaplin Robot." I drew Lauren but it turned out weird. I need people to send me stuff that they may want to contribute to my new comic books that are coming out. Write me something or go ahead and make your own comic page. Oh well, I'm all done. Go look around. -josh!

9/11/00

Hey look! A story:

Ickle Pickle Sickle was a horrible name for such a sweet cheese man. He wandered the streets in search of a companion. Dogs would chew on his cheesey leg and he would cry. Martians would point and laugh as "that cheese guy" passed by.

Ickle went by a malt shop and stopped in to say hey to Pops Malted. It was a particularly hot day and Cheese sweat was dripping all over the place. A nice malt would do some good. Pops was in a horrible mood because he just learned that he would have to close his shop down if he didn't get rid of the children that worked for him; ages ranging from 12 all the way down to a miniscule 2! He was really pissed off when the "Cheddar Man" walked in. He threw a fit when Ickle got cheese sauce all over his beautifully cleaned counter. Pops pulled out a gun and told him to leave.

Now, on his journey of nothingness again, Ickle accidentally tripped on a moose and fell in the Bay. He screamed and yelped. He wailed and moaned. No help. Ickle Pickle Sickle was eaten by a water buffalo.

Moral: Watch where you're going. THE END

9/6/00
I got to sleep in today. I have to work later. I whine too much. I don't want to work. I'd rather be with Lauren.

Now, a story:
On the way to school one day, a large beast known as Troy was sidetracked by the lure of a snack shop. He wished to purchase a cheese stick and some beef chew. No one seemed to be working the counter so Troy left without paying. He walked a couple blocks and stopped when an old cow got in his way. The cow talked to Troy,

"I really like peppers and sound clips from 50's programs."

Troy had no idea what this all meant. He decided to try not to decipher it and he went to school. It was such a beautiful day.

Troy was surprised to find out his teacher was eaten by a talking cow. THE END

9/5/00
If you ever see Lauren and I together check out what's on my face. It'll be a smile.

I still haven't gotten to really updating this. The Globe is back open after JoEllen's little vacation fun. We all actually have somewhere to go now. Go there. I drew a weird stick dude with chalk on the wall and it looks nice. The Sinkhole 'zine is scheduled for release on the 10th. Check out my links for more info.

I went to the collective meeting last night for the George Orwell Resource Center. I had a good time and I talked about some stuff that I thought could help. Lauren and I were riding around the county getting back to St. Pete and singing and having a blast. We got back and had ice cream which is always good. Oh well. Shut up josh.

More later. -josh!

9/4/00
Hope you all found this. Working on more stuff as I write this. Check back. -josh!

9/3/00
Hey-lo! Lauren and I went to the sushi party last night to benefit the George Orwell Center. It was fun! I did what I could to help out and I met some cool people. John Navarro was there and that turned out to be a really neat surprise. I'll be putting more info up about the center soon and the goals the collective wishes to meet with it.

Anyway, I worked this morning and I still haven't slept. I might add a bunch more crap on here later. good-bye. -josh!

9/2/00

There's been twenty years of the Stuart now. I've been around for most of them. I miss hanging around Stu. He needs to get down to Florida.......and how.

I still have to work out some bugs. Check it out. I have today off. I have a lot of stuff to do. I'll be in the chat later, though. -josh!

8/27/00
I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!! Ever since I got into Buster Keaton and his silent film comedy back in Dec. 98 I wished I could see him and his movies how they were seen in the old days: on a big screen! That is just what I got to experience. I just got back from the Tampa Theatre after seeing the 1923 BK silent "Our Hospitality." John Navarro and Lou took me there. I got free tickets from JoEllen. I never laughed so hard at a movie before! There were so many people there and quite a few people there that were my age. That was really cool because that ensures that this type of entertainment can live on. One strange thing was that no one dressed up except for people that were helping out with the showing. I was the odd man out. I felt so good that I dressed up with my plaid pants, my awesome hat, and my skinny tie.

Lou and I bought snacks while waiting for John to park his van. We then went in search of seats. The balcony was packed so we had to sit downstairs, which was better anyway. The Tampa Theatre is beautiful and I hope to see more movies there. It started with the director of the Theatre welcoming everyone and describing to us facts about the movie and Buster. We then were introduced to Rosa Rio, the woman who was going to supply the music for the viewing. She was playing the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ and we all joined in with a sing-along.

The movie got under way and I was all smiles. I had never fully seen "Our Hospitality" and that made it even better. I was eating my candy and drinking my pop and having a great time. There was an intermission and I'm glad because I really had to go to the bathroom. We all got back and soon after, the movie started back up. This was an amzing movie and you probably wouldn't be able to believe any of it was filmed in 1923. Buster Keaton was incredible. He invented so many special effects for movies. He had so much creativity and that is why I am so fascinated by his work.

The movie ended and I stood up to give my ovation. Everyone else got on their feet and applauded also. I took some pictures of John and Lou as well as myself. We all got back in the van and headed back across the Howard Frankland Bridge to our fair city. John didn't have any seats in the back so I was sitting on a regular chair. We were going across Tampa Bay and we listened to music. The sun was shining on the water and it was really nice. We got back and John dropped me off. It was such a great time. Now, I'm here typing this and I'm going to be off to develop my film. Check back here later. -josh!

8/24/00
Ho-hum-der-dum. Nothing new. I worked all day. Jason left for New Orleans. Anyone in the Tampa Bay Area, check out this week's Weekly Planet. There's a nice little description of your least-favorite comic artist in there. It deals with the BOTB party. The Best of the Bay issue comes out Sept. 21st! Check it out! ok. bye-bye.

8/23/00
Nothing new. Today's my day off. I'm working on art stuff. Jason came back today and then left. I've been taking Todd and Phil all over showing them the sites around downtown St. Petersburg. skadios. -josh!

8/21/00
Hey there. Todd and Phil are coming down here. I can't wait. I had a pleasant surprise when Lauren came back today. I have a few more things up. Buy some art. Other people are. -josh!

http://www.ink19.com/issues/august2000/streaks/comix/itsAPunkRockLife.html

8/18/00
The party was cool. I'm glad Emily went. If she didn't, it would've felt really strange just standing around (much like the feeling of being the loner at a hall show. Ha Ha Ha!). She was awesome, though. I'm adding more and more stuff by the day to this thing. I thank those who wander around and check things out. A thanks also goes out to the chatters. I have to work a lot today and tomorrow. skadios. -josh!

8/17/00
Hell-oh. It's almost 1am. I'm working more on my site. I finally got my scanner. Jimmy took me out to CompUSA and we talked shit about people all day. I was pissed that I couldn't get the damn thing to work for awhile. There are a few new things up. Check out my new pages "Art for Sale" and "Me." You will be unimpressed.

Anyway, later on is the Best of the Bay Awards Party. I can't wait. It'll be a fun gathering. I have a date! Emily from work actually wants to go with me. I'm going to get all dressed up in one of my suits and add one of my bow ties. I'll be taking pictures so those should be up on Friday.

I have Writers' Block. My art crap isn't coming along. I hope to have the Sinkhole 'zine stuff done by next week and the BSEDC mini-zine stuff done by the 1st. Skadios. -josh!

8/16/00
Hi there. Right now, I'm in the process of working on my site. Expect a new and hopefully improved one in the coming week. I'll write more later. -Josh!

8/14/00
Hello there. I'm starting to learn Java. This'll be fun. As soon as I do, then my site will hopefully look better. Go check out my links. I added a couple more: Calvin and Hobbes and Doug Allen Comics. The Doug Allen one is the best site I've ever seen.

I'm tired. My toes hurt. I've got many art things to do. I'm stoopid. I whine too much. Ok. Bye-bye. -josh!

8/13/00
Hey-lo. Nothing really new. 2 months til I'm 19. Jason left today. Was listening to The Sellouts. Ummm....more later. -josh!

8/11/00 (part 2)
Hey there. I added some new stuff to the site. See if you can find both of them. I just got back from developing some film that I took 10 years ago! Not many turned out but it was weird that I never got it developed. Take care, all. -josh!

8/11/00
Hey everyone. Nothing new.

To anyone who has my number, you can call me for free and leave a message with CallWave. Just dial 1-877-R-U-ON-NET and then type in my number. It's cool. I like getting the messages over the computer. Other than that, take care. Skadios. -josh!

8/10/00
Happy Birthday Dad and Todd!

I want to thank everyone for coming and chatting. A lot of people were there and it was a lot of fun. I have to start working on new comics including a new punk comic. Any suggestions? Let me know what you think of the site and what I can do to make it better. -josh!

8/9/00
Hey there. Once again, big chat thing today. Go there. I slept very good last night. I have today off. Anyway, I should write more but I don't have anything to say. -josh

8/8/00 (part 2)
Hey! Big chat session tomorrow, all day. Be there. Just got word that the Blood Sledge Electric Death Chickens are going to be putting something new by me in their upcoming 'zine. They were the first to publish me with them putting in the highly unusal "The Shellis and Alabaster" in the third mini 'zine. Check out their site on my links page. Until whenever. -josh!

8/8/00
Hey everyone. I'm adding more stuff. Check back here soon. -josh!

8/7/00 (part 2)
Hey there. It's 5:33am right now. I haven't slept. I have to work at 8am. I'll write more later. -josh!

8/7/00
Hey! Check out:
www.geocities.com/sinkholezine

It's a new Tampa Bay area zine that is getting started up. It looks like I may have some stuff in there. Ok. It's 12:30am. I'm tired. More later. -josh!

8/6/00
HI-LO. What's new? I'm all greasy from cleaning greasy air vents at work. I cleaned a lot of junk there today. I bought a bunch of CDs like I normally do. Talked to the jolly Lee-ska who's over there in London. Don't know where Jay-son is. Stu may be here next week (!). OK Jason is back. Talking with him now. Eating salsa and chips. Yummmmmmmmmmm...........shut up, josh.

I have to organize my surroundings. Got so much crap now. I need a scanner. I don't know why I'm writing these weird one line things. Oh well. Bye-bye. -josh!

8/5/00
Hey yo! It's a little after 3am and I just got back from hanging out over at The Globe. It was neat. I got some drawing in.

Some comic news: Ink 19 has published my second punk comic "It's a Punk Rock Life." It is on their site:

www.ink19.com

It is also seen in the different editions of the magazine itself put out all over FL as well as Athens and Atlanta, GA. My sincere gratitude goes out to Ian Koss. I had no idea he was going to put the comic in there. I'm such a happy little comic artist.

8/4/00 (part 2)
Hey! It's 4pm. I'm one happy Josh. I got the new Telegraph album as well as a new Telegraph shirt! I'm so giddy. I'm also actually eating some real food instead of junk from bus stations. OK, now my little journey back to Saginaw:

I had to go back because of the passing of my grandma. She was the only grandparent I ever really hung around with and knew. On Friday, I was going to fly back but then ended up taking the Greyhound. It was a crazy week.

I left St. Pete at 6pm on Fri. and went through and stopped at all 8 million of the same craptowns and run-down cities as last time. First Tampa, Brooksville, Ocala, Atlanta; you get the picture. It stopped a lot. I spent pretty much no money and I had no food on me so I just was a little hungry. I wasn't so bored this time around because I read my Hectic Planet Trades and my "Our Gang" book. It was a bitch, though, because only one side of my headphones worked. It was great seeing all these cities but the annoying old people and bratty kids made me want to jump out the door. It was cool to be in Chicago again.

The only other time I've been in Chicago was when I took the bus up back at the end of April. That time, I talked to Joe Kletz for awhile and that helped to pass the time. He lives just outside of Chicago, in Berwyn. I don't remember if I was there for 4 or 5 hours because of the time difference.

I got back to Suckinaw and my mom and my dad were both there. I had my mom drop me off at the Andrews' and I really surprised Rusel and Lydia. I adore these two. I've been there since they were born and I always miss them. I hung out with them more than any other Andrews sibling. Rusel is going to be a great comic artist. His stuff is a lot better than mine: It's funny AND it makes sense. Anyway, Rusel was really happy to see me and then I woke Lydia up and that freaked her out seeing me. I didn't really let anyone know I was coming up because of such a short notice.

A little bit after this, Patrick and I took off on bikes to go thrift store shopping (just like the old days. *sniff* *sniff* I miss you old days). We went to Bethesda but they were closed. We rode down Michigan and I stopped by Arthur's. Arthur is the guy that cut my hair since I was a little hellion up til I decided I wanted to cut my own hair. After that we went to the fabulous Action Thrift but they were also closed. We were bummed because it would have been so much fun.

We then went to the comic shop. Shorty had no idea that I was in town so I went to use a pay phone at 7-11. I told him I was in GA and that I'd be up soon. Pat went into the shop first and I heard Shorty tell him that I was just on the phone and then he saw me behind him and I freaked him out, also. It was so good to be back at the comic shop. Everyone has been there and I basically lived there when I was in Saginaw. As soon as people found out I was there, a whole bunch of them started showing up but this is later in my little story.

I left with Patrick back to his house. My mom picked me up and I got ready to go to the showing of my grandma. My sister and I went and it was strange and sad to see her laying in a coffin with a bunch of people I never met standing around. My dad, Aunt Ann, and Uncle Larry were all pretty shook up and with Carrie and I being there, it made them feel a little better. I didn't really show no emotion because I've become a person who holds it in too long and it is very upsetting when it finally does let loose. I took Carrie back home after the gathering and we both decided that all the relatives were "fake."

I took her bike to Rusel and Lydia's because I was going to spend the night. I wish Pat and I would have had the time to film more silent film pieces but I was too tired and he is always working nowadays. I woke up later the next day and Stu and I took off riding around the horror that is known as Saginaw (once again, like the old days. *sniff*). We got back and the whole lot of us went out to a Chinese Buffet. Total, there were 11 of us including Pat's girlfriend and Ben's girlfriend. This was wonderful because the whole Andrews clan (including me as the extra brother) hardly ever gets together. Rusel, Patrick, Stu, and I were laughing so hard at the weirdest crap and we were so loud. I loved it. I grossed them out by eating a piece of a squid.

Stu and I took off to Matt Kinney's and then I had him take me back to my mom's. I was very tired. Man, I did so much stuff in such a little amount of time.

Monday was the funeral. Carrie didn't want to go and it was extremely sad for me. During the service, I let it all out and cried for the first time in a long time. It was just streaming out of me. I am very much going to miss my grandma and I can remember so many times of being over at her house and getting into trouble or being pissed off. Ha! I loved it when she always used to fill me with sugar and pop. That's why I'm so energetic, I bet.

Afterwards, we all went to Sullivan's (the restaurant of my dad's cousins or whatever) and we ate. It was nice spending time with my dad because he still can't handle me being so far away from everyone. I had him drop me off at the Andrews' (yes, I always was here also). I ended up over at Brent's house and I called everyone so they could meet me at the comic shop. Brent and I rode over there and then Emily showed up. I was very happy to see her because her and I joke around so damn much. It ended up being a circus with all the people outside. The police probably think we were conspiring on some gang ativity. Dann and Melanie showed up and Stu and Matt were there and so was LOU!!!! Todd showed up and we all had a great time. Everyone took off when I left with Todd and Lou to Bay City to visit the ever-popular Cafe Cappuccino. I used to have a box there for donations and notes for my comics when Rob used to own half of it. We got there and the box was gone. Oh well. We sort of wandered around eventually ending up by the entrance to the old blown up battery plant Adam Brown and I snuck into back in Dec. 1996. We should've stopped to check it out. It has now since been turned into the meeting place for Satan worshippers.

I got back to the comic shop and drove my mom's car back and I read most of "The Dark Knight Returns" because I happened to find it when I was going through my junk. The next day had me over to get Rusel, Lydia, and Daniel and take them to the comic shop. Nick Brandt and T.J. Uhrich were there to greet me. Brent came by with his cousin ("Brent's Cousin" is what I tended to call him). This was another day of it being a circus at Shorty's. I took Rusel and Lydia back and then went to pick up my mom from work and my sister from her work. We went eat at Tony's across from the comic shop. Todd and Lucas Grubaugh showed up. I took mom and Carrie home and rushed back. Lou then showed up. The four of us went to the mall where I saw tons of people I hadn't seen in a long time. Most of them were asking why I wasn't in Florida. We then went over to the Saginaw 8 or as some would call it, the movie theatres. We called up Phil Tubb and the five of us went to see "Scary Movie." This was sort of weird because it was the five of us that were all hanging out on the Sunday before I left Saginaw to move down here back in Dec. That was the day we had a huge snowball fight against Lou which lasted almost an hour and ended up with us surrounding his car with snowballs in hand. I wish I had a time machine. I said my goodbyes and went driving around.

I first went to see if I could find Stu so I could say bye to him but he was nowhere to be found. I then just took off and headed out to Admiral. Whether it was Stuart or Patrick, we would constantly go out to this gas station and buy the most wonderful and cheapest pop ever, Shasta! I bought some Shasta cola and one Shasta Pineapple-Orange and some peanuts and headed out on State Street as if it were back in the days when I went out to Freeland to get Rachel. This was probably my happiest time during my trip. I had Slapstick playing and drinking my favorite pop. I ALMOST did go out to Rachel's but I decided to hell with that idea. This was my time to be alone and enjoy my last night.

I got back and fell asleep. I woke up and got the stuff in my old room organized into piles of what I want to keep and what I want to give to the thrift store. I got my crap all stuffed in my backpack and my mom, Carrie, and I went to the bus station. My dad showed up and my mom's dad showed up. It was a nice little family experience. Then, I left.

I'm very happy to be off the bus and back home. I haven't really slept and I probably bored you very much. Thank you for reading this, whoever you may be. Have fun. -josh!

8/4/00
It's 2am. I just got back into St. Petersburg about 30 minutes ago. I can't believe how much I missed the hot, humid nights and the stupid birds that don't go to sleep. I didn't go back to Saginaw on a plane but rather on the good ole' Greyhound. I'll write more about my trip later. Adios and have fun. -josh!

7/27/00
I'M HEADING BACK TO SAGINAW. IT LOOKS LIKE I'LL BE THERE TONIGHT.

7/26/00
I will always be in my chat room when I'm on the computer so if you read this, go there. I'm such a dork. Nothing new.

7/25/00 (part 2)
GO TO THE CHAT ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7/25/00
It's 12:48am. I finally got my computer and I've been doing all sorts of crap. I found songs by my favorite bands and junk like that.Yay!

7/21/00
I don't know if any of you had any problems coming to this site, but I do believe Yahoo and Geocities got attacked by hackers. Every time I went to open my site and my file manager, I went to a whole different site. E-mail if any problem occurs.

I slept a lot yesterday and didn't get anything done. Best Buy never called and told me if my monitor was in. Jerks. I took off last night and rode my bike along the Bay listening to Link 80. I was lightning watching. It was so peaceful. I took my headphones off and went up to Coffee Pot Bayou. I watched lightning for about 20 minutes and the went back home. The city is very beautiful at night.

Hmmm.....adios. have fun. -josh-

7/20/00
Have any of you ever noticed that I am one complex person? I act very strange sometimes and then other times I will start talking philosophical and spout out all sorts of knowledge. I have all this anticipation for different things. I hope too much, I dream like a champ, and I live a somewhat reclusive life. My main concern is my comics. I detest my art progression. I've totally backtracked into a stupid-looking cartoon style. I'm my biggest critic and, in turn, my worst critic. I take on a lot of projects and my supervisor job gets in my way. I should quit bitching. The children's book is all done so I have the freedom to work on new stuff. I will do that when I go home. I started this writing off all pissed off and sad sounding but now I'm happy and now I am back to my own stupid self. Bye-bye. Go chat with those who are in my chat room. adios. love, josh!

7/19/00
The chat room has proved to be a lot of fun. I'm there right now (6:24 pm EDT).

Best Buy was out of the monitor for the computer package I'm getting. Hopefully, I'll have it by FRI. I'm looking forward to it very much. ok. adios. -josh!

7/18/00
"The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" was great last night. My thanks to JoEllen. The Globe was packed and seeing a silent movie on a big projection screen was great. The live eerie music was awesome, too!

I'm getting a computer tomorrow so look forward to a whole new site soon. I'll be adding tons of art and pictures. You may see yourself on here. Adios. Bye-bye.....-josh!

7/17/00
Hello everyone. If you have not checked it out yet, and I know you haven't because Ken is the only one who has, my chat room has been edited and it looks better. You will like it. I may be there. Who knows?

If you live here in St. Pete, go to The Globe tonight for a little silent film madness. My little geeky comic self will be there. Yay! Silent films are great, even the crappy ones. I have this really horrible Chaplin silent that got so cut up and redone that you can't even tell what is going on. I even love that one! I am actually looking for silent movies. I'm not dorky enough to by them online yet. The Little Rascals silents are the ones I want to see.

OK. Get outta here. Go outside and do something. -josh!

7/16/00
Everything looks so nice and new outside. By far, the biggest rainfall since I've been down here happened yesterday. We got about 4" downtown but a foot fell in a few places nearby. It was nuts. It looked like it was night out the whole morning. The rain washed all the dirt and other debris away.

Nothing else. The children's book is coming along. When I go home, I plan on working on it all day. I had a lot of fun on Fri. night at The Globe. I made $10 on a few comics and everyone was there. I stayed out til 3:30 am. I've been so tired because of it, though. Ha! Ok. Bye-Bye!

7/14/00
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRENT!
Two years ago today, I was on TV with Brent and Patrick for my comics and we made up a whole bunch of crap. I said very confusing things and it is the best TV interview I've ever seen in terms of creativity. Bravo, Brian Wood!

It's 3pm right now. I may be on the computer for another two hours so check out the chat room. I'm teaching myself new HTML tags. Ooooo! What fun. Am I computer nerd? That's it. Have fun. -Josh!

7/13/00
My thanks to everyone who has chatted with me the past couple of days. It's been a lot of fun.

I'm happy. I'm working on the second children's book and I drew 25 pages yesterday. I hope to have it all done by tomorrow. If anyone wants any mail, write me or e-mail me. I'm giving away all sorts of junk like sketches, comics, etc. I'm also looking for people to do comics or write stuff for my new books coming out. I haven't done anything but the punk comics and my fifth free mini-comic since I've moved to FL so I'm really motivated to get somthing done. I bet all two of you are interested right now.

Does anyone know how to get ahold of Josh Price? Ahhhh! That's all! Adios! -josh

7/12/00
My first day off in two months! Go to the chat from 3pm-6. I'll be there. Yay!

7/11/00
GO TO THE CHAT ROOM BETWEEN 3PM and 6PM TODAY!!!!

I'll be there and if you go there you can join in with others who just want to make fun of me or whatever. Shut up josh.

7/10/00
I was acting so strange at work. I'm back to normal. Doesn't this new look irritate you? HA HA HA!

7/9/00
Yay! I'm all happy because I'm not sick anymore. It feels so good to say that. I slept a lot! I kept having extremely freaky dreams and I felt so crappy. I think I'm talking to myself. I've got to draw the damn children's book. No more excuses. I kept playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for the Dreamcast. I love that game. I'm trying to beat it with every skateboarder. I'm about halfway there.

A story: Little Coppy Buckins was so bored with his village life that he decided to run away to the city. When he got there, he was taken in by a kind old lady named Polex. She pushed Coppy down her basement stairs and she started to smell something horrible coming from down there a few weeks later. THE END.

7/8/00
I STILL don't feel any better. At work, Tim the cook made me some chicken noodle soup and that helped. I have to go home and sleep. I'm really weak and tired. I haven't noticed it, though. Hmmm...adios. Sorry this hasn't been interesting lately. -josh

7/7/00
It is really horrible to be sick in Florida. I have a fever and the heat doesn't help at all. When I leave USF, I'm going home to my A/C. I got sent home from work because I'm not any better. I just went and bought some medicine. It's around 9am and it is already 85 out. Here in St. Pete, it never got below 80 last night. Anyway, that's it. Have fun. -josh

7/6/00
I still feel really crappy. I think I have the flu. In fact, I just left work early because of it. I get my phone hooked up today so let me know if you want the number. adios. -josh

7/5/00
I don't feel good at all right now. Last night, instead of watching fireworks, I licked envelopes. I sent out a bunch of my new comics today and I think the glue on them made me sick. I got a fever and my throat is killing me.

Ian Koss of Ink 19 sent me a few copies of the issue with my comic in it. It is so cool looking. The comic is really small and still quite clear and legible. Nothing else. If I know you, expect something in the mail around Friday. Take care. -josh!

7/3/00
I hate you all! No, just kidding......Happy 4th of July! -Josh!

7/2/00
I worked from 5:30am to about 10:30 and then I went out into the world for a change. Usually, I just work and go home. It was, and still is, beautiful out today. The wind coming off the Bay is great. The typical summer sights were around: old people in Speedos, thugs fishing, and St. Pete city workers acting all tough and not doing their job. I just bought groceries. I'm going home to eat my ICE CREAM! I'm getting a phone hooked up on Thursday so if you want my number, e-mail me. Adios! -josh

7/1/00
Hey! It's July!

I had a lot of fun last night at The Globe. I hung out with the people I know and ate cake and drank Coke. I gave out the new punk comic and I got a pretty good response from it. I really like how it turned out. There are 1000 copies that I made.

Today, I start working on the children's book again. I'm going to draw like a madman. Ahhhhhhh!! Go to the chat room. I'm there sometimes. Bye-bye.

6/29/00
It's almost 8pm right now. Check out the chat room. I'll be there for a bit. Ahhhhhh!

Nothing else. Tomorrow, I start sending out the new comic "It's a punk rock life." Look for one in the mail, then burn it.

Here's something I e-mailed to people a long time ago.

I think it's time for a story:
As young Bob Dobbs wandered into the farm he finally realized that his giant toucan was actually a substitute teacher that was transformed by the use of a blow dryer. Bob was eaten. THE END. ok. that was horrible. It started right at the end. Anyway, here's some stuff for everyone to follow as a weekly plan:

Sunday
Go to store and eat peppers that you accidentally drop on floor and step on a few times. Comb hair and all the stuff that is left on comb lick in happy manner as if enjoyment and happiness has overcome you.

Monday
Wander streets until person asks you for money. Beat person and laugh at them and say the phrase: "No time for Barley!" Person will be so confused and disoriented that they will luckily fall in open manhole.

Tuesday
Purchase candy corn and feed to cat. Cat will get enlightment from these sugar-based wonders and you can possibly have it do new tricks such as: Flight, Typing out useful Resume, Vaccuuming, Sweeping of arm or possibly 2 arms, sewing, wood carving, tooth extracting, or some various other human conjured novelties.

Wednesday
Learn how to tap dance and go to library with hard wood floors. Do tap dance routine and get kicked out. Go home and spray yourself with rat poison. Fun for the whole family! Yay!

Thursday
Invite your friends over. Take their money and replace with Mars Bars. They won't know what hit them. Works best if skilled as pickpocket.

Friday
Drive car to local Drive Thru (example: McDonald's). Get out and never come back for car. Loads of fun and excitement!

Saturday
Watch Disney's One Saturday Morning on TV. Poke yourself with broken PEZ dispenser until you are rendered unconscious. You get to sleep all day if successful.

Well, that was enjoyable. Talk to you all later. It's been real. Josh!

6/27/00
I'll be in the chat room from 3pm-on today. Check it out if you don't have anything else going on.

Check out the links and go to the Blood Sledge Electric Death Chickens one. I just added it a few days ago. It's raining now. Bye-bye. -josh!

6/26/00 (part 2)
I've been reading up on information about the August showing of Buster Keaton's "Our Hospitality." I have always wanted to see a BK movie how they were seen when they first came out. It is going to be at the Tampa Theatre (on a big screen!) and they are going to have live music just like the old days. I thought I'd share that with everyone. I'm not going to let anything stop me from seeing it!

6/26/00
I don't know what to write on here. I thought about it for awhile, but now I can't think of anything. Hmmmm....my stupid key to my apartment got stuck in the lock so I got a brand new lock put in. How exciting.

I made a little inking guide to the new punk comic. This will enable me to see how it will look and hopefully make it look cleaner than the first one. Don't cry, it's almost over.

Actually, it is over. -josh!

6/25/00
Ha! I found out about the blink tag. Yay! If you didn't know, I'm making this whole site using HTML. That's why finding out new stuff like that interests me. Ok?

I feel good and happy today. Lately, I've been acting like a jerk . This guy I work with named Sam gave me an Egg McMuffin today and I was so happy. I've come to the conclusion that my true happiness is when I'm eating. It's the only time when I'm content and I'm not talking (besides sleep, that is). I don't know why I decided to put that on here.

After many long months of not being able to access my old site, I finally got into it today. It has a new address, too!
www.geocities.com/skallivan

It has nothing new on there and I took the guestbook down because I was tired of looking at it. The old guestbook was really cool when I had Calvin & Hobbes tearing it up on there. Thanks to those who did sign it, though.

Now, a story:
An electrician named Joe and a gorilla named Betsy were the best of friends. They hung out and drank hard liquor constantly. They were the coolest duo since Rowan & Martin. Actually, I hate Rowan & Martin. Damn the Laugh-In! Anyway, the two decided to hit the beach. Betsy was fat and hairy. That spelled trouble for her. As soon as she got in the water, she got stuck! A big wave came and took her out to sea. A fierce gang of pirates appeared and hacked Betsy up numerous times. Joe joined in the feast they had of gorilla meat and water buffalo. He then went back and made some stoopid comix. The End.

I guess that's all. E-mail me everyone! -josh

6/24/00
Hey everyone! Check out the Catalog link. I got the new punk comic done. All it needs is a little inking. Speaking of punk junk, check out the web-page (site?) of the one and only Jessie Fantastic. The address is:
http://angelfire.com/mi2/jrs/

She also has a comic up at:
http://angelfire.com/mi2/jrs/komic.jpg

Support female comic artists because their stuff is better.

6/23/00
I am so tired. I just read a whole bunch on Buster Keaton like I do every once in awhile. Nothing new. I'm going to put more stuff on here soon.

6/22/00
I'm bummed out for some reason. Work is seriously bringing me down. I need to work on art stuff and it isn't getting done. There is not enough time in the day.

Some very good news, though, is that I got a sequel to the punk comic written up. I haven't shown anybody it. I was almost asleep last night and an idea popped into my head and I had the rough draft all done of the comic in about ten minutes. I hope people like it.

The "Happy Berfday" comic got mixed responses so I'm going to use that one for the Impressions Magazine comic if they so choose to use it. They're the ones who said the punk comic was "too harsh" for them. Ha! Ha! Ha!.

Take it easy and come back later. -Josh!

6/21/00
I forgot to put on here yesterday that I saw the sunrise for the second time over Tampa Bay. The signifigance of this was that it was the earliest time for it to rise with it being the first day of summer. It was great just being out by the water and no noise except the birds chirping and then it just getting brighter and brighter. I really enjoyed it.

I added a few more links. Check them out. Go look at Joe Kletz' site to see some really nice looking drawings and read his humoristic lines of web-page fun!

A story: A malamute and a rabbit were fighting each other over who could eat more nacho chips. The dog said he could because he was bigger and the bunny said he could because he took tiny bites and it allowed him to eat longer. This has no importance at all because a couple of redneck poachers came along and killed the poor animals.

The two creatures came back to life and ate nacho chips. THE END!

My stories are really horrible. Adios!

6/20/00
I'm trying to change something on this site every couple of days. My thanks to everyone who signed the guestbook. I changed a little bit on the comics section. E-mail me if you find any other problems. Nothing else.

6/19/00
I can't come up with a sequel to the punk comic so I'm making "Happy Berfday." It's a comic I wrote last Sept. and I think it is ok. It stars the characters from "The Josh Sullivan Adventures" and it introduces the new character Flom Dots. I hope people like it. I couldn't get a lot done once again due to my fascination with thunderstorms. There was a water spout over the bay yesterday.

I fixed the guestbook so you can all sign it again. Sorry I had to delete the old entries. I want to thank Lauren Anzaldo for putting my info up on the radical calendar. Check it out! It IS radical: www.geocities.com/radicalcalendar

My thanks also goes out to RobG of Uprising!, Ian Koss of Ink 19, and Sterling Powell of Weekly Planet. I appreciate everything these four people have done tremendously.

A story: There were three fairly small individuals who went to the store to buy milk and they fell in a stray mop bucket. Their body parts and guts were washed and re-washed all over the floor of the supermarket. THEE END.

Well, that was stupid. -josh

6/18/00
Wow! I just saw that the punk comic is on Ink 19's site! I'm really happy. The address is: www.ink19.com The comic is under the COMIX section and then it's the "More Punk" link. I got in the Weekly Planet for my comics, too. I'm very happy about that. Other than that, nothing. I am so entranced by lightning that I can't get anything done. Everytime a storm comes around I turn into a little goon and just watch it. Oh well. Bye-bye. love, josh!

6/14/00
Hello. A story: As I wandered down the street I came upon a mutated walrus. It asked me my name and I said Josh. He said his name was Poppu and he wanted something to eat. I gave him some candy.

Poppu and I went to the old fishing hole and bought some ice tea. It was good. Poppu got violently ill and puked all over a passing fish. Mutated walrus vomit is not something to look at. Anyway, I took Poppu to the zoo and he made friends with a Shrew named Sue. I ditched Poppu and got a hamburger to put in my pocket to eat later. I'm glad Poppu is gone. THE END

Well, once again, a confusing story about confusing things. That's what I'm known for. How is everyone? Anybody want the rough drafts of some of my comic pages I've drawn? I'm giving them away and I have a whole bunch of them. E-mail me and let me know. I'm going to try to put some new comics up here as soon as I get to a scanner and I find the time. My head hurts.

Bye-bye. More tomorrow.

6/13/00
Four months til I'm 19. Man, I've done a lot since I turned 18.

I bought the new NOFX today and I still haven't listened to all of it but it sounds pretty good. I didn't like their last release "The Decline," because of it just being one long song. But if there was no NOFX, I would have no stupid little punk comic. What would have got in the 'zine would've been a stick people comic or something with a robot in it. How lame am I?

I have a page now for all the links. Check them out. I read some of my stories that I put on here and most of them end with someone in a hole. I didn't realize it til now. Well, adios for now. -Josh!

I finally got glasses after a fairly long time of not seeing clearly. I feel good. I rode my bike fifty blocks to pick them up and I rode through different areas of St. Pete to see something new. I always am downtown so a lot of St. Petersburg is new to me. I saw kids hanging out and just riding bikes and going to the store to probably buy candy and pop.

It got me thinking about how much I miss childhood. It was so fun. Adulthood has its advantages but being a kid is so much more fun. That is the reason I still act like one. Being a kid always presented you with new and interesting stuff and everyone knows that that is always the best.

I don't know. Sometimes I wish I could put my thoughts more easily into words. Hmmmmm.....ok. I cleaned up pretty much everything in my apartment in preparation for a whole week of just concentrating on art projects. It is going to be hard but I've always kept myself going. Screw this sleep crap. Bah! I'm a bitter and sometimes mean person with sleep anyway so why even bother? Yeah, that just about covers it. see ya! josh!

It is raining. It is cloudy. It never rains and it is never cloudy. What a weird day. Check out the guestbook for some classic comicality from Joe Kletz.

A story: Bernice Williacks wanted to find herself a nice boyfriend so she didn't have to pretend anymore. Bernice fell in a hole and no one even knew about it. THE END.

OK I don't want to type anymore.......josh!

It has been exactly one year since I graduated. It is also exactly 6 months since I left Saginaw. I miss school. I had so much fun acting like a weirdo and making my comics. Nah, school was boring.

Ink 19 did publish the comic but it got left out of the edition they put out for the west side of FL.

New links up but the layout stinks. I have to work on it. Check them out though.

I just wanted everyone to know that Joe Kletz looks like older Pete from "The Adventures of Pete and Pete." I've always known this but I just saw a picture of him on a site and he looks like how Pete looks in those Ameritrade commercials. Those are the ones where he's named Stuart and he is trying to get his boss to invest and then he gives him a flyer for a party and his hair is all funny looking. The other one is when he jumps into a family's pool and comes up and this guy's daughter likes him and wants to have his baby. The father likes him because he "invests." Anyway, the site to see Joe is:

Don't beat me up, Joe! See ya.

It rained yesterday and everyone went crazy because of it. It was actually something really nice to see.

Things are boring with me. I finally am getting back to my old schedule of work so I have to catch up on art "chores." Take care, everyone!

I got a Dreamcast today. I'm going to go play it. Hoo-ray! There are thunderstorms all around. Bye!

6/6/00
Wow! It's already the sixth. Times flies when you're Gangster Fun. Ha Ha! Emily knows what that's all about.

The drought stricken county I'm in is desperate for rain. FL looks like its going to just burn up. It has rained two or three times since I've been down here. It has almost been 6 months since I left Saginaw.

A stor-ee:
A prince and a midget were combining their talents to come up with the latest and greatest humor comic book. They worked day and night and finally after 13 hours, the pair had created "Prince Midget Mini-Comix." It was an instant success. They sold out of all 100 copies they printed up. They got right to work on the next issue.

About two weeks later, the midget got all pissed off because the prince was getting all the hot chicks and he was just getting old ones or fat, grotesque ones. The midget wanted revenge.

The prince became a king and the midget was buried alive in a hole. THE END.............josh

Nothing really new with me. I painted last night and that's something I rarely do. My apartment is darker and much more gloomy since I put up blankets over the windows. I used to do that when I was younger because it's fun and it's always dark. Perfect sleeping conditions.

What's new with everyone? I haven't gotten e-mails from a lot of people lately. It appears that a lot of people come here or then again, it could be the same person visiting the site and it is Bob Dole! Yikes!

I don't feel funny today. I'm getting burnt out from work. I just need to train people and then I can get back to drawing and stuff. No one likes listening to an 18-yr-old punk like me. Oh well. I'll always look like I'm 12.

At about 11pm last night, I found a copy of Ink 19. I looked through it and didn't see the punk comic. I then turned to the front inside of the issue and my name was in there under ILLUSTRATION. So, I looked through it again and still didn't see it. That's another "Oh well." Maybe they lost it. That's where the punk comic should go; in the trash.

Look for more to read tomorrow. Take it easy. -josh!

Hello there. I like putting new stuff on here everyday. It gives me a chance to just put some thoughts down and have people read them for their own furry amusement.

I got the Choking Victim "Crack Rock Steady" Demo yesterday. They were such a cool band. Find their music today!

The Taste of Pinellas was packed yesterday. I had only signed up to help out for 2 hours and I ended up doing about double that. There were so many people to just go and get their fat face stuffed and then move on to more delicious treats from more of St. Pete's restaurants. I did have a good time, though.

Since yesterday, I've been in search of a copy of the latest issue of Ink 19. I guess they haven't distributed it around the Tampa Bay area yet.

Now, a story:
The Postow family were a group of folks who very much enjoyed going to the park on Sunday. Pops Postow would drive himself, his giant wife, and his thirteen children to Postule Park and gorge themselves on Oranges from one of the trees.

Young Peter Postow grew sick of this weekly ritual. He decided to play a joke on his family. So, the next week Peter put a pumpkin puppet in place of himself and disguised it to the point of it actually looking like it was the real Peter. Everyone was having a good time at the park when old scraggly Petunia Postow noticed that Peter was missing. Everyone searched frantically for him.

Meanwhile, back at the Postow residence, Peter was having a blast being on his own and laughing and having a great time. Peter forgot what his mom said when she explained to him not to play too close to the hole in the living room floor.

The Postow family returned to find Peter laying face first on the basement floor. THE END.

That was strange. Talk to you tomorrow. Happy Birthday Cheng!

Yay! Yay! It's more to adore:

I saw Against All Authority last night and it was pretty good. They didn't play "Ska Sucks" though. I handed out so much free junk like flyers and 'zines.

Check out the links because I changed a couple of them. Go to the site of Joe Kletz. Joe does comics and they're better than my confusing ones. He's an alright Joe.

Does anybody care?

From the totally drained mind of J. Sullivan:

Hi there. Here's more to be bored at. I need to put more interesting things on this site.

Tonight is going to busy in downtown St. Petersburg. There is First Friday, where they have this stupid gathering of stupid people to get stupidly sloshed. Then, there is the Disturbing the Peace Fest with AAA and others. The Taste of Pinellas starts also with what appears to be another gathering of people but this time to eat. I'll be there tomorrow and Sunday running around and acting weird as usual. Hoo-ray!

I need ideas for a sequel to the punk comic. Anybody have anything? I was thinking of having the dude that got part of his face smashed with a brick could go to another show a few days later and he'll be all smelly because he hasn't tended to his wounds. That's pretty punk.

I need mail! I want people to send me anything they think would interest me. Whether it would be toys or writings or drawings, just send me some mail. I'm trying my best to send some new stuff out to those that I have addresses of. Expect things that will quite possibly make you dumber. Bye-bye......josh

From the mind of Josh Sullivan:

Yay! It's June. It doesn't really seem like June because the importance of it just isn't there anymore. When you're in school, June is the highlight of your school year. Now, it's just another beginning to another month.

A story: Opscotch McKowstash and his trusty pickup truck were going down the road to the store. The old farmer wanted to purchase a case of chickens that had been freeze dried. We don't know why but he did. All of a sudden, a local hooligan named Bobby Falagan jumped out in front of the truck and waved for Opscotch to stop.

Bobby never got the old farmer to stop. THE END

Yay! Ink 19 is printing my comic!

Well, look at this. It is a new day and all is well. I started training for my new position at my work. I'm tired cause I worked from 8am til past 2 and then I have to go back at 5. Do you think I'm complaining? I'm really not. I'm liking it.

Anybody who remembers when I was drawing the children's book will know how much I put into trying to get it done. Well, it's taking forever to get the second one done and drawing it with a brush and ink has its challenges.

Hopefully, I get to go see Against All Authority on Friday. I would really love to go and hand out punk comics. I'll get beat up and wander around the city and people will call me "12."

I'm a baby. I should shut up now. more later.................ah!

It is another day and I've been up since 5 am. At 6, I caught a very exciting episode of "Charles in Charge." It actually was really stupid. It had the old cast from 1984 and Buddy Lembeck didn't appear to be as obnoxious.

I enjoy waking up early and having the rest of the day to get stuff done. But alas, I have to work. I need to finish quite a few things. I'm taking it one thing at a time, though.

My new comics are looking pretty cool, too. Fans of The Josh Sullivan Adventures probably won't like the new books that deal more with characterization and setting but that's ok. I like them very much and as soon as I get them done, I'll send them out. If you want any new comics or just want to write, the address is:
