I love you, Dad.

The Josh Comics Art Exhibit was an awesome time! I ended up selling a nice chunk of the original comic art and I want to thank everyone who showed up. I put up some newer work that I've done lately and I just finished a new painting that is going to be a part of the second "I Love St. Pete" show that's happening this Saturday at the the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club.

There are a lot more comics on the site. I've started rescanning and recoloring some of the one-panel cartoons. The site is nearing completion and then I just need to fix some cosmetic stuff to it and then I can get to working on new comics and my book collecting all the old work.

I'll be having an art show at The Globe Coffee Lounge in St. Pete sometime in mid-November. I also will be at Megacon 2007 in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center and my table is Yellow #15.

Today is ten years since I drew the first "Lou" comic. Those first couple years of doing the comics went by so fast and I ended up self-publishing a lot of books. Now, I always seem to be bogged down with a multitude of activities but once I get this fucking site completely updated, then I want to do comics again at a more frequent pace.

Happy Birthday, Dad

Dawn and I did the seventh installment of the Sporadic Ska Show on WMNF 88.5FM. We had a theme this time around - playing all female-fronted ska bands or songs with guest female vocals. Thanks to those who called and listened to the fun. The show seems to be getting more popular from word-of-mouth. I'm going to make a flyer for it, soon, so I can promote it at shows.

There's going to be an update to the "Artists Under 25 to Watch in Pinellas County" in the Weekly Planet so I'm trying to get my site updated so I can mention that I added new art and comics here for the viewing public. If you do check out the site, you should sign the guestbook or e-mail me.

Last night, I got the Paintings page done and updated and then got the Guestbook page to fit in with the new template for the site. Today, I went to my first band practice in over two months and we worked on a couple new songs: "St. Pete's Not the Same" and "Fireworks". They're fairly close to being done and we'll be coming up with a lot of other new stuff soon enough.

Andy went with me to do the Sporadic Ska Show along with Dawn this morning on WMNF. I got a little flustered when someone requested a song that we had to keep hitting the dump button for because of swearing. I just don't want to bring any undue harassment to the station if there's any swear words in the songs we play so if you're going to request a song, take it upon yourself to make sure there isn't any before you call us up. I actually hate it when someone calls in a request because I spend forever preparing what I think to be a good show and then they want to hear something I have to go looking around for and it throws off the flow. I do love that people actually do listen to the show so don't think I'm complaining. I'm just running on no sleep.

Today was the first day that I've worn my Soul 4 Sale shirt I did the art for and nobody chuckled and then asked me "Heh, heh. How much?" People are a pain the ass. I have got to get this stupid Web-site completely up-to-date because I am very tired with it.
